I think you need to be English of a certain age range for this to really hit home. I'm in that age range of 35-45 and the list of stuff he did on Wikipedia is amazing, so much of my childhood cartoons are in it.

Chorlton and the Wheelies.
Count Duckula
Jamie and the Magic Torch ( a series hated by my friend Jamie growing up )
Alias The Jester
The BFG
Truckers
Cockleshell bay


not to mention Captain Kremmen when I was a little older

Even recently, for my own kids, with the likes of the Andy Pandy and Bill and Ben remakes, and Fifi, all stuff my daughters loved when they were little.

Very sad to hear about this one going, he helped give me so many childhood tv memories

That's probably it Coin, I know I'm in that age range but in the States, and the only ones I've heard of on that list were Danger Mouse and Count Duckula.

Aw. I remember Danger Mouse... weird little show, but I definitely liked it.
Now I'll go rummage about for some episodes...
