I generally go with Natural. Mainly since I remembered where all the appropriate stores were. Now that I tend to buy/craft IOs at 22, I stick with Natural out of habit.

I would also love if the beast was quieter. Half the time I'm trying to out-run it so as not to keep hearing the noise.

Firstly, your Incarnate character would still be available to do, you just would not be able to use the Incarnate Abilities. IOs are also not available to your character, unless you pay for Invention License (or unlock it with Reward Points).

Let's say you have only played and paid for City Of * for 2 months and then you stop. If you made a Controller or Mastermind, that character would be greyed out for you until you either starting paying again, or until you unlocked the character via Rewards Points (1 Reward Point for every 1200 Pargon Points you buy in store, or 1 for each month).

Now if you made a blaster, tanker, scrapper, stalker, etc, you would still be able to play that character when you went Premium. The only characters with restrictions are Controllers, Masterminds, and the epic Archetypes.

On my Tanker I often use back to back combos of Sweep and Attack Vitals and I have not noticed any bug there. Having said that though, those two combos don't share a power. I will try Empower and Weaker when I get home later and respond, provided someone doesn't beat me to it.

You earn 1 reward token for each month's subscription. Tokens can be used to increase your tier, and open up other ATs, slots, etc.

Paying players receive 400 Paragon Points each month (VIP tier 9s receive 550 Paragon Points each month). Paragon Points can be used to buy powersets, costumes, temp powers, etc.

The mastermind is only available if you are either a VIP, or if you have enough reward tokens to unlock the tier for Masterminds.

Installing city of villains will not give you Masterminds on a free (premium) account.

If you get your hero to level 50, that does not "open" another character to slot to you. You will have to purchase another slot, or use your reward tokens to open a slot.

1. I believe it is knock down, just like Shield Chard and Lightning Rod.

2. Adding knockback enhancements to a knockdown power pushes the power into knockback. (Note: knockdown may still occur, but there is no way to slot for knockdown)

How about dragging the enhancement/enhancement booster over a slotted enhancement would cause the target to be highlighted? Release and the combination process happens. If you were already at +5, the enhancement would turn grey, similar to the way they do now when you try to slot more than 2 of the same set-io in a power.

If you have the option show enhancement combo screen on, you get the current view.

I agree, absolutely. With all the options we have lately, the ability to turn off the enhancement combo screen would be lovely.

Hmm interesting interpretation. I took it to mean a per character, and not account, claim. I like your thought process better.

I believe it was announced that the Wisp Aura was going away, as a new option, shortly after the switch to the NCSoft Launcher. Any character that already claimed the aura, gets to keep it.

Hello. Very basic question but I did the same thing on my first attempt, did you go back and talk to Mender one last time? Was the Alpha Slot badge granted to you?

I watched for the full 2-hours but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. I didn't turn away though so that counts for something. Gives me the feeling of another caped crusader that favors black. Interesting, if-not-quick, back-story. Hoping that some of the animations/graphics for the cape grapels will improve with time.

Shame on them for revealing the head bad guy, even though all the face-closeups made that apparent.

Will watch again on the 17.

Did you receive the 72 month reward? It makes inspirations 5% more effective. Perhaps the +end proc works similarly to an inspiration.

My dark/shield scrapper is one of my favorite characters to play. You will find great joy in shield charge, even with the recent changes. Do you have shadow maul, it will substantially help your AoE ability. Siphon Life does great damage and heals you a pretty good chunk. I have slotted mine with a mixture of IOs for accuracy, damage, heal and recharge. Consider acc/damage, heal/recharge and acc/heal.

Soul drain - do this [particuarlly] before Shield Charge, Shadow Maul and even Siphon Life and proceed to giggle.

And on to your question about which powers to skip, I held off taking Grant Cover and 'One with the Shield' until the 40s. Grant Cover stacks well with others but won't help you directly.

Phallanx Fighting is a wonderul power with teammates around you.

Against all Odds is a must.

How do you play your scrapper? Solo or groups?

Generally, to redeem additions you have to log into your NC account and enter the code. This will apply the pact and you can access it in game. I don't have the Super-Booster pack so I could be mistaken but I would suggest you start at My Account.
