Why can we not use recharge intensive IOs with mastermind henchmen? Was the rationale to stop enhancement of henchman power recharge - which no longer works - or summoning speed? Half of the sets can slot the recharge intensive defenses and half can not. Significantly, 2 of the restricted sets, Ninjas and Mercenaries, are widely considered weak, and though the other, Robotics, is not, it's arguably outclassed at its specialty, defense, by some of the alternatives with the ability to slot them.

The maximum of 20 emails per account is incorrectly counting LOCAL mail. I got tons of local emails, and can receive more, but can't send. I'm thinking this is intended to block GLOBAL emails over 20, but all it does is prevent sending local.

Musculature boosts
Summoner IOs
None of them can be used by the Dark Servant to enhance the offense of its powers which do include a couple of attacks. -
Is there some sort of contractual reason the power slide can not be bought? Every other example of a pre order or collector bonus can be bought or is a veteran reward.

Does anybody actually pay in PP for the SSAs? Even the sale is a steep price.
A while ago you added the booster-style ninja pack, including powers, as a sale.
Any chance you will add complete booster packs back? -
I completely agree. MMOs do it as a policy and that is ultimately contributing to some of their difficulties. Even WOW is not immune to the consumer waking up.

You guys got me thinking he would be killed off with the Statesman...
Bleep, I would like it a lot. -
I considered these but a SSD is supposed to have trouble with rewritten data. Is there a way to put just the persistent data into it?

Quote:I would like to get additional stipend points at higher veteran ranks, where the difference between a premium and VIP is increasingly low. I know you gave the top level more, but it could use another point boost somewhere in the hierarchy. What can we do to add even more value to our VIP subscription?
Similarly, a license to let premiums use incarnates would both quantize the value of a VIP and bring additional people to the trials so they are easier to use. In addition, improving the incarnate trial access, like not requiring leagues to be in zone. -
Quote:It's almost as if it is some sort of video game. They should have also considered how far people would go to "game" the new IO system as well.
I suspect they were not prepared for the demand for def, but the real defense bonus demand started when the IOs got the positional type combination, which made soft capping viable to a lot more people. The combination was necessary to make certain sets up to par and was the correct decision, though I supect bonuses would be lower in general if the combination had been instituted at the start.
However I consider it a net bonus, easily. IMO, any build should be able to softcap, and I find the concern about it laughable considering scrappers are STILL at the top of potential performance. If scrappers get to use fireball with any of their sets it's silly to complain about blasters. -
If you have no decent items to put up and have to do a quick bundle to keep up the schedule, you could get a lot of acclaim just by including a sale with it.

Specifically, I want to restyle the board's theme through CSS or Greasemonkey.

And did anyone catch the MACE shown above? The mace that has BLADES on it? Blades that could easily be changed into vanguard blades? All of the "its impossible" or "this doesn't make sense" stuff goes out the window when you look at it. If any hero/villain in the game can have access to maces with blades on them through patrons, why not a vanguard version with blades? -
Yes, there are tons of topics, 56, but what is especially hard is that 31 are sticky and after I read 10 or so of the non-sticky list I switched to the sticky list, then back.
The topic also has a single distinctive word that is different from the other topics. -
Quote:What are they? I may like to see alternative RP communities.- Bad idea, a very BAD idea to begin with. Why? We have already at least FOUR servers I know that play host to a community of roleplayers. We don't need more, because that splits the RP community instead of bringing it together to have fun and work together. Why people insist on hiding behind a locked server is beyond me.

The announcements are hard to find. Could anybody link the invasion schedule?

Quote:Oh god this.Precisely. This is something that right pissed me off in First Ward most recently. I wanted to know what was going on, but I just couldn't read fast enough. Why? Well, I was seeing caption text in two yellow boxes, caption text in two red boxes and four speech bubbles on-screen at the same time, all the while I was fighting for my life. I can't read that fast. I don't know anyone who could. Moreover, I don't know anyone who can read that fast while multi-tasking between reading and playing what is a fairly complex game. I cannot keep up.
And how about Prometheus who WILL NOT SHUT UP and takes sentences to express concepts that can be told in words? -
More non aggressive faces are desperately needed. Faces are the top tailor problem IMO.
The tailor has like 20 determined faces, 20 angry faces, and 2 goofy faces that are over the top. -
Well, the devs said it was a surprise how few tourists there are - people go where they can get rewards so how it could be a surprise is shocking to me.
There's also the fact it is RP concept related and the tourist system is undeveloped - incompatible with bases - and that influences the population too. -
Has anybody compared just the bosses, IE the support versions?
For support, which is better for a blaster with high defense... Phantom AB or the Seer Fort? -
Switching to an alt is a potential response to ANY balance criticism.
Switching faction is not an appropriate response because it takes 2 days minimum and costs a ton of merits anyway, compared to affirming faction twice. It also does not address the biggest reason to be native - merit conversion - because you have to stay native to do so at any large amount. In fact if you switch a lot it costs even more rewards.
The point is that if I want to run a TF for entertainment as a tourist, I'm getting half as many reward merits as a native, for the same task, even if that is a TF I can do natively. If I actually use the ability to enter another zone, another consideration is that it can be much harder to traverse zones and either the team is slower or they go ahead.
The point I made is not that we need a rewards AT but that rewards vs. access is apples and oranges. They don't balance just as combat effectiveness does not balance either.
