  1. Teacher- 12 hours - Teaching those who want to learn the ways of Praetoria is more than a hobby to you. It's a mission.

I'm leaving my guys sitting overnight so I'll have 16 and 20 in the morning
  2. That was fairly interesting. I never noticed the shadows.

I have nearly all of the purple IOs bought and crafted already. ^_^ I have bids in for the LotG 7.5% and Numina unique, but none filled yet. Might have to buy those with merits, we'll see. Most of the other stuff I still have on hand, I think.

That was quick! I look forward to seeing what kind of silly entries you get.
I briefly entertained the idea of entering but somehow I think my avatar would give away that I don't exactly need money :-p
  4. Correct defense checks take the highest value not the total.
  5. Your observation is correct. There are no APPs for VEATs.
  6. I jump; ALOT. The Ninja Run's flip in mid air fascinates me for no particular reason.
  7. Badgers Badgers Badgers
    Mushroom Mushroom
    Snake!

    yes.
  8. I found my KM/Fire scrapper very fun. If you're making a KM toon make it a scrapper. Or a stalker I guess.
  9. I pulled 90% of my stuff left anything worth less than 5m because I had too much of that.

Things I found as I went through character by character:
    2 Miracle procs
    1 Gaussian Rech/end
    3 Numinas
    8 LoTG 7.5s
2 Regen tissue procs which are now worth less than I paid.
more purples than I knew I had.
  10. The big three will crash. Don't invest there.
    [Numina, Miracle, LoTG]

I'm not sure exactly what contest I should hold... maybe have people post a picture of their warshade (level 50 or close to it) and a short paragraph about why they qualify as a casual player and why they deserve, nay, absolutely need to have all those shiny IOs. ^_^ Then maybe I'll pick out the best and figure out how to choose a winner from there.

Based on my own build I'm thinking... 5 sets of purple IOs (5 pieces each) -- all four damage types and stun (Absolute Amazement) which can be place in Gravetic Emanation, 5 Luck of the Gambler 7.5% global recharge IOs, and then maybe a few other goodies like a Numina unique (doesn't everyone need one?) and, I don't know, an Oblit set (at least 5 pieces), couple of Nucleus Exposures, couple of Steadfast Protection KB protection IOs, Performance Shifter Chance for Plus Endurance... that should get anyone well on their way to an awesome tri-form War Shade build no matter how they assemble it.

All crafted and ready to deliver. ^_^ I'm working on that part now.

I should probably post something in the Kheldian forum when I'm ready.
Sounds fun. You should make them include a screenshot of their market interface as well as a screenshot talking to an M NPC(to get hours logged)

But I don't know for sure.

How does this power work? What is it bringing to the build? If I really want to hover most of the time, should I skip this in favor of something else?
Do not skip Hot Feet. Hot Feet is your main damage as a fire/kin.

Once HF is turned on you can do whatever you want it won't deactivate by being too far from the ground.

I agree with this. I love the chaos.
  15. Interesting counterpoint: I logged in today to find that every single purple bid I had placed filled overnight. That's several billion in purples being dumped in a day. Perhaps someone knows something :-/
  16. To the best of my knowledge, very little.

We've been fighting a lot of carnies lately and the Ring Mistresses are extremely risky for me to engage. They drain both my endurance and health at alarming rates.

I've been avoiding Energy Cloak but now I'm finally looking at it since the defense for it is general (or seems to be). I certainly don't want the stealth but is it a decent defense buff? Does anyone know the numbers on it? I'm still a power-pick away from Weave but then I don't know the numbers on that either.

I think even a little bit will help when combined with my wife's to-hit debuff.

Also... how do I get the numbers for a power before I get it? That's one thing that has always bugged me. If I could do that then I wouldn't have to ask dumb questions like this.
On the power selection screen at the top there is a button that says Show Details. it turns that pane into a detailed look at the power you mouseover.
  19. First, Your Healing Flames is your life blood. You do not want to short it any recharge. I'd redo it like this;
Remove the Numinas from HF replace them with a 5 piece set of Doctored Wounds, take the end/rchg out of weave use that slot in health. Take the Res/End Steadfast from fire shield use that slot in health.
Health should now be 2 slot Miracle 3 slot Numina (the +regen gets a benefit the more +regen is in the power)
Footstomp eats end like mad, reslot it.

I can't figure out why you went for 15% aoe defense, it won't do much for you.

Personally I'd take some slots from Blazing Aura and put them into Electrifying fences. Keeping mobs in your burn patch is incredibly important.

That should be a good starter.
  20. Definitely!

I think I post up every single toon I get to 50 before I do their final respec to slot purples. Do I need to because of a lack of confidence? Not really but I always wonder if there is some detail I've forgotten. I do this in particular because these toons of mine have only just hit 50 whereas other people have been playing and enjoying the same powersets for years in some cases. I assume they have more knowledge and love hearing feedback on my builds.

Still didn't get it.......and much like Fulmens stepped on some luddites cause well they were nearby when I came out of the Cap Uni and didn't run fast enough.

The next time I logged my toon I was like....hey I still have the contact for the university tutorial.......doh!
Haw this is even funnier than Fulmens!

Make it 2 billion and I'll consider agreeing.

    I like this idea too.
I'd happily blow 100m on random purple considering most of them are non damage, thus worth under 100m.
  24. Visions of Grandeur my Ill?Rad just hit 50 tonight so I can now tweak out her final build. I've built towards permanent Phantom Army as well as puttiing as much damage in as I could.
