  1. It will. However you can only have one in your whole build. So if you used one in aim or build up you can't put another in tactics. It's a unique pock just like the stedfast 3% def.
  2. That looks good to me pity you don't have room for lash, but my deamon mm is only L12. So I can't say for sure that your not missing any thing.


    It's kind of a crazy idea, but you can drop the rez, charged armor, and CJ to take the fighting pool. for another 4% defense! woohooo! cooking with gas now!

  3. Here are my suggestions

    Use the 2 pet unique IO's that add +def and +res

    Slot you protector bots for Defense and end. Keep in mind that with two L50 Def IO's they add 11 defense to everything. So you only need to get 35% defense to be soft caped.

    Powers like repulsion field and force bubble arent ment to be on all the time. Bubble is better off with a recharge. I can't speek for Field as I have never used it. The damage Proc is a good idea but I would use two End reduc my self.

    Other than that I moved a few sets around but its still the same, more or less. I would also take either Photon Grenade or Repulsion Bomb over challenge but that's just me.

    For daemons taking the the whip attacks makes sense because they have -res. -Res makes all your pets do more damage.

    Soft caped to melee, ranged, and AOE. Should be able to solo on 0/x8.

    Granted Corruptors are closer to Defenders than true Blasters.

    That said almost anything soft caped is good.

  8. In Mids Protector bots have a on/off switch by default but it dosen't do any thing. Is this a known bug?

    I was under the inpression that it was the toggle for the 10% defense that they give but its not working on my machine.

    Assuming that the +10% from the Protector bots is not being counted and I wanted to reach the soft cap all I would need is 35% defense right?


    I an generally wrong so that's what I planed for. Here is my current build if any one wants to take a look.

    If by some miracle I'm right I'll have to redo the whole thing.

    This was my experience for this mission as well this was on a Merc/Traps

    For non speed TF's MM's are fine and bring a lot to the team. On speed TF's MM are useless for everything but boss fights.

    On Tin Mage I fail to see how an MM could ever be usefull in the D11 fight with out a special build. Once past that mish tho you should be fine. Apex should also be fine you just have to spam Go To.

    Other than TF's all other high level content is fine you should be able to solo most things on 0/8 with out any major problems be they newpapers, tips, or story arks and regular teaming is fine.

    Forums are in general a place that those unsatisfied with a game come to voice there complaints. This can be clearly seen in out vocal PVP formites. They are universally unhappy with the state of PVP in game. However nothing has been done for them.

    Why?

    It's because there is another MASSIVE community that we never see or hear from, those content with the game as it is. It is those people the Devs listen to, it is for them that the new content is for.

    The fact that the incarnate content that we have is team oriented is because that's what marketing told the Devs the largest part of the player base wanted. To say that there are many players that agree with you is to ignore the current state of the game, and how we got here.

  18. On the issue of solo V.S. SG/guild content baring I have always felt that as an MMORPG the game content should be balanced around PUGS.

    That is all content should be doable with any PUG. I have allways felt that this is how the game was balanced. The fact that most of the content IS solo able is just a bonus.

    As a player of an MMOG, if you are unwilling to at the very least do what little content that requires a team with a PUG...

    Why are you here?

    Are you unwilling to move you digital representation along with seven other digital representations for two or three hours? Most of the time you don't even have to say anything to them other than "Hi." and Thanks for the invite. Good run." And that's only if your feeling talkative. Hell you can even make a marco to do it for you.

    I do a lot of soloing my self but when ever I encounter something I can't solo, I either find a PUG or make one.

    And to all those soloists in this thread that are mad about more team based content. I just want to say that being an active participant in the forums involves a significantly greater amount of social interaction than joining a PUG.

    (EDIT) Any one know if those helicopters in the first screen shot are in GR some where or are they new? I think the game could handle a helicopter. We know they have an animation for the blades moving. All they need to do next is to give it fly, full auto and explosive missiles. That would be the coolest boss fight EVER!

  20. I really hope that the Steampunk super booster is next after the animal pack.

    Other than that I'm looking forward to I19.5 and I20.

    Dubble XP weekend will afford me the chance to complete a few toons I have been working on and start them on the incarnate content.

    I do feel as the the regulated monthly letter is a little to formal tho. The devs popping into random threads, on in-game issues not in forum games, feels more genuinely friendly, and more communicative to me than a planed announcement.

    How ever in lieu of any thing else, I'll take it as it is.

    Not being done ...

    And it never will be, at least not like that. Reason being is server calls.

    You have to realize is that almost everything you do in game has to go all the way to the game servers and come back to your PC before it happens. What you describe would not only mess with every single mob's AI and attack chain, but also quadruple (At least) the number of server calls any one playing an MM would be making, resulting in greater lag.

    It would be better to just rewrite the AI.

    Personal I think it was a stealth Nerf to MM's that the devs hate to begin with.
  22. As far as zone music I would like to see a two things.

    1. Turn the repeat on! Right now when you enter a zone the music only plays ONCE. In places like the market trainers or TF contacts at the very least should always have background music.

    2. Music just for traviling. Put in some simple upbeat 30sec bits and some code for determining when a player is going to a mission this will elemenate the constant shifting of neberhood music when your only in that hood for 15secs or less.

  24. When (not if when) EAT's get power customization I had an idea for Crab spiders Leviathan patron pool breath attacks.

    Use the suppression animation and have each arm fire a grenade. Then when they land each grenade explodes with a smaller version of the venom grenade gas cloud.

    Could also use the same thing for School of Sharks but instead of the gas cloud use the web cloud form Traps/Web grenade.
