Recently on one ITF, I had 3 Purple Recipes Drop. Two of the recipes were the exact same recipe. -

Cold Domination users. I have one at 50, working on a new one (wasn't happy with Cold/Ice Defender, with no Ice Epic) that I hope to be happier with...Fire/Cold Corr.

My BS/Regen fights them at +1-2/x4 without needing any click powers to beat most spawns. I therefore estimate that BrandX is right and /willpower is probably the top set to handle them.
/regen is good also if you have the reflexes (which I don't, I really wish I could magically transform my /regen into a /WP).
So I'm sure anyone who puts real effort into the build can make them so, however. With /WP I just find the layered defenses really help.
And with all that said, I've gone +4/8 and not died, then faceplanted on +0/8, teaming with a full team and died. That's always funny

I never meant to make anyone jealous either, because with everything in this game, I doubt I was the first and I doubt I'll be the last.
I solo'd Trapdoor with my ill/rad/psi, DM/SR, FM/WP and KM/Ela... I never noticed any regen, maybe a tad more then a typical EB, but nothing out of the ordinary. I guess it depends on your DPS and burst damage. Maybe a Claws scrapper with low burst damage but high DPS would take longer then a FM or KM? Not sure, but I can't wait until this hits the Flashback arcs.
Just something for me to test out when/if they make it flashbackable.

I'm completely sure Empower->SS ran into this problem two years ago. I even posted a video about it, and reported it on the scrapper issue list. Seeing as it's still there in the I18 update, I suppose it's not fixed.

In pure ST damage, it is only slightly better, because of the bug. If the bug was (is?) fixed then it would be (is?) significantly better. This is assuming you have enough recharge to run Emp->SS without leaving procs behind.
In mitigation, it lacks the KD from Vengeful Slice, but it uses fast animations only and so lets you react faster when you need it (I've died while locked into Vengeful Slice too many times to not mention how important quick activations can be for survivability).
In AOE, it depends. BF->AV does better on paper, but some of it is DoT and will often be wasted. Emp->SS, even with the bug, gives you the benefit of a double-stacked BF on SS and an additional +12.5% (+25% if the bug was/is fixed) damage too.
As you add more and more damage buffs from other sources, BF->AV starts catching up with Emp->SS in ST damage, while still requiring lower recharge.
Haven't had the problem with vengeful slice that you've hard however. Don't know what build you use though, so it could just be that I'm WP, and really have no clickie to survive powers.
But I was so used to taking AV and Sweep Combos that, I when I stopped taking the Sweep combo, I didn't think about the Empower combo for when I exemp, so I always just took Power Slice. With what you've said I see a reason to take Nimble Slash over Power Slice.
I'll just have to wait till Wednesday to respec that attack, move a slot around that I was planning to do, to up my F/C Defense. -

I believe there is even an option in the fateweaver to allow you to solo these at full strength. However, the default is EB level.

I am taking people at their wiord they can solo 4 of these at a time.... mostly cause I hate to argue. seriously.
But i do find it amazing when I do a LRSF against a bunch of heroes and it takes 7of us to take down one, while our 8th keeps the rest slept..... And then a melee character is like "I eat them for breakfast' Good for you, but I want to see it, ya know. Not saying anybody is lying, but danged. Hats off to you if you got this kinda toon.
First off, you've run the LRSF, you know they tend to be linked...that's like 8 AVs you have to survive while killing one, with 7 others beating on you.
LRSF also has them at +4. While in missions, the level of the AVs tend to be even level or +1.
The linking is one of the reasons people put the AVs to sleep in the LRSF to begin with.
But you didn't mention one specific TF, you mentioned TFs as a whole.
And yes, Scrappers have gone about soloing some of the TFs with AVs in them. -

And go for the damage incarnate ability. It'll add more DPS then you'll get adding recharge. You've already got enough recharge as it is.
I think this is the first time I've run into a DB toon who builds with the same goals as me. Most people I see settle for BF/Vitals or something even weaker. -

Fire/Cold/Psi Troller
Fire Control has the AOE damaging abilities, Cold offers Sleet, and Psi has Mez Protection and Psionic Tornado. -

What do you think about the idea of allowing players to submit their characters (instead of using random selection) maybe with the possibility of popular characters moving up the ranks and being given their own Story Arcs? There would be a review process, so the devs could nix inappropriate characters, but it would probably require far less resources than the original idea. The reviewers wouldn't have to scour the entire character database, just review the characters that were submitted, and having a submission process, with requirements such as a well-written bio, would limit the number of submissions.
Now, I'm not against the idea. But think about it, I could have 36 characters on 12 servers, and submit them all. With or without the required guidelines, they'd have to go through them all, and then at the same time decide if character is worthwhile.
Let's not forget that players won't exactly care for the devs saying "your character sucks" so there's more of a headache.
The idea is awesome. What comes with implementing it would all be to much work.
Now, they could limit it to only one submission per user, but that's still a lot of users. -

This comment is insulting, because I already stated I have been attempting to create teams, this is not helpful this is simply someone attempting to flame me in one form or another or someone who just gets off trying to make others look bad.
You want to accuse me of a bad attitude? That is fine, my attitude is great until people like this love to make assumptions about me when they do not even know me, including the person above who saids I have a bad attitude well I got news for you, I know my attitude and I really could care less what you think of me, your not really worthy to judge anyone if you honestly think you can make a judgement like that across the internet about another human being that quickly.
Anyways I never seen a lft team channel, I have done channel searches I mostly play central times at night but like I said above the server is in the red when I am trying to find a team, and I certainly do not go off about how I cannot find a team in game, I am always friendly.
That said, I've seen a few Manticore TFs forming, and they're that level.
Once you get to level 35, get into Cimerora, and you're really likely to find a lot of teams, as people look to create ITFs.
I know just yesterday I was running 4-8 person teams in Praetoria.
My suggestion is to yes, get GR. I don't know when you got back, but with them selling GR for 9.99 at Best Buy, that would of been a great time to grab it, as it came with a free month. -

As you're an archer, in a superhero world, relying on simple tights, isn't a bad thing.

Took my daughter to see it (2D) and we both loved it!
I still don't see why they had to kill off the Princess Line, but the movie was great and evenhad me tearing up at parts.

Even IOed up as I leveled to the point of tanking an ITF a few times (Presence Pool). Softcapped S/L/E/Ranged Defenses...and it's just boring. I won't make another MM.
Haven't gotten a Kheldian past the mid 20's. I even have a concept I LOVE for a PB, but the AT itself, just kills it for me :/ I'm sure I'll power on through each to level 50 at some point, but I haven't yet. But I need to, so I can have a 50 of every AT, and they're my last two.
WP/EM Tanker. Before the ET change, I was already hitting dead enemies, and not being of any use on a team that often. The ET change just killed the combo for me :/
