Maybe to keep some mystique. I can see how not knowing what to do and not knowing "why" is infuriating people... but personally, I like that we're left to figure it out.

Quote:I can confirm that there were no Lore pets until you requested them. I did not notice any non-Lore pets on the 16-person run, though. There was an Illusion/ Controller on our earlier runs, but I am not sure if they were on the 16-person attempt.I just ran a 16 man trial to test this. Still variable level shifts across the league. People calling out a mix of 3s and 9s each time the lights were taken out.
I didn't control for pets, but I don't recall any being out until I called for Lore later on. May have to retest for it. -
I lost connection 2 or 3 times while reading the text at Monica's memento. I lost connection another 5-6 times trying to get to Sinclair, not having activated a single attack. I was able to wait it out every time.
During the Arachnos fight, I was losing connection constantly, but for a few seconds at a time (I wasn't aware of using only ST attacks, and of course, I wanted to try them all!). I lost connection during the cutscene, even.
At the final wave of enemies, I hit Zeus' Lightning, and it froze and kicked me out to Login. When I logged back in, Belladonna wouldn't talk to me, and I had the badge. -
A new guy started at my work recently, and although he's a pretty nice guy, I want to slap him every time I see him. He looks EXACTLY like an adult Joffrey. It's funny that I have not taken the time to get to know the new guy... and because he looks like a fictional character I hate... I have no desire to get to know him. I cannot rationalize this. I guess that's the mark of a good character, or the mark of me being bat-pancake crazy.

I'm not that great at getting in-game during the week, but I'll try to get on tomorrow to join this. Having read nothing about this apart from "Tyrant's in it", I can assure you I will be nothing but a benefit to anyone's league.

On the last few ITFs I've run, the AVs are all running around relatively quickly.
Today, I pulled Requiem and Rom with a Stalker, using melee attacks. I jumped up on the platform and hit them both, and hopped down to the computer. They followed me. I managed to land an AS on Requiem, and he immediately tried to flee. The initial hit and the AS were the only attacks on him. Likewise with Romulus. The initial hit to pull him, and then a Crushing Uppercut when we were on lower ground.
The same happened with the Nictus version. After only a few hits from my Stalker, and our Scrapper, he began running. He quickly did an about-face and got pummeled by the team, but after his first rez, he began running away all over the platform after the initial 2-3 hits.
I noticed the same behaviour two days ago on another ITF, except the first instance of Romulus didn't attempt to flee, but Requiem ran like he was on fire. My attacks were the only ones that landed, as the rest of the team was fighting the computer at the time. Nictus-Rom also tried to run. On this TF, it was the same issue... running away almost immediately.
In the other few runs I've done in the last week, they did run, but did so when their health was much lower. In the incidents where they fled immediately, the team lacked Tankers/Brutes, which led a teammate to theorize that there was no taunting mechanism keeping them reined in. In the incidents where they fled after much more damage had been dealt, we had a Tanker or a Brute... so I am wondering if the teammate was correct.
Anecdotal as it may be, I had seldom seen these particular AVs attempt to flee, even when the teams had no taunt, or damaged them far more quickly. -
My billing date is the 14th.
I routinely get billed on the 13th (I assume this is due to being billed on the 13th in GMT)
I generally receive my points on the 14th (though it has been the 15th)
I receive my tokens on the 24th -
I can't say that Party Rock Anthem was something made popular by geek culture in the least.
The, er, band had already had at least a couple of hit singles prior to it.
Oh.. it just occurred to me that you might mean the derivation of "LMFAO". -
I've heard the Blyde Square music used on some show my wife was watching. TMZ, or Access Hollywood, or some such.
Just yesterday, I also heard the Ouroboros "beeps" on something, but when I turned to look at the TV, a commercial had just begun. So I am not sure if it was on a show or a previous commercial. And I've already forgotten which show was on TV. -
Congratulations to Jitsurei for hitting 50 on her Corruptor, Omy!

I was surprised that just a few months ago, I got:
- Guilty
- Not Guilty
- Hateful
- Millisecond
all on Champion -

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Feel free to look me up if you're ever looking for a teammate!

Quote:Agreed. From those two, I'd have to say #1. However, I'm not really keen on either of them, to be honest.
The first one, Shadowhunter and Penny look to be done in two different styles, perhaps by two different artists? Penny seems more cartoonish. Because of this difference, it doesn't seem to flow well.
Number two, though. Ugh. Penny's face. -
I should be there. I'm pretty confident it won't be an issue, but I'll update you mid-week. Blasted work.

Quote:I understand your reservations with requesting specific powers being brought to the league. It smacks of micromanagement. For a regular team. No, you don't need a snipe to take out Frostfire, or the Malta Sappers, and you don't need an ST heal on an ITF or a Bank mission. There have been some suggestions to use Snipe for this hallway. While this method is seemingly more "secure", I really really dislike having to ask for people to bring specific powers.
But this is a very specific task. Requesting something that specializes in long-range damage, to complete a task that requires ranged damages, and benefits a lot more with long-range damage is, a very specific tactic for a very specific goal.
It's no different than requesting Holds for an LGTF, or prior to incarnates, requesting a carefully built AT to tank Lord Recluse on a MOSTF. Sure, you don't need a Dom for the LGTF, or a Tanker for STF, but it helps.
Quote:Originally Posted by AmygdalaYou highlighted the pros and cons of each method well. I definitely have a preference, but I also have the badges. So in the end, it's not my badge at risk.
That said, the next time you'd like to attempt it, I'll try to be there, with a Snipe. I believe Player One is my only character with a Snipe Attack, so, even if you manage to get it and plan another run down the road, I will be happy to join future runs, if you need a snipe-mule. -
I agree with BrandX regarding the pose. It's typical comic-faire.
Her face, though. It's just... off.
Overall the picture just strikes me as "swing and a miss" or coupled with her expression, sort of a playful punch to a buddy. It doesn't strike me as particularly threatening.
I don't care for this new screen at all. -

Seems it's bugged.
Though I ran it yesterday without incident; today it will not advance past the "Teleport Assault into Orenbaga" mission.
During it, a team member quit. We completed it, and it didn't advance. We contacted support, and ran through a second time. GM got back to us when we'd reached the last mob. We completed it, and again it didn't advance.
The GM had the Team Leader log out/in with no result. Finally, the GM intervened and completed it for us. -
My billing date is the 14th. Since Freedom, payments have been taken on the 13th, whereas prior to Freedom, my payments were taken in the evening on the 14th.
According to my billing summary, my points are issued on the 15th. I received mine on the 14th this month. Unsure if that is normal for my account.
I usually receive my token 2-3 weeks after billing.
