Same with the constant waves of ghouls when you are taking on (again) 2 AVs in the sewers. Is this really necessary? I could see taking on X number of waves and then have the AVs show up.

Having done this TF with the minimum of 4 players is an exercise in frustration. I'm not sure I would want to run this with lower level toons because of all the debt they would incur.
I don't mind multiple AVs. Mortimer Kal has you fighting 3 at once(Hero Rogue and Vigilante).

If the Ghouls were slowed down just a bit, they would not be that bad.

Would of went with the story, updated the game, give something asked for for awhile, and help spread out the revamping so it takes less dev time.
Steel Canyon?? You mean Kings Row?

    1. Primal Durays Air Strike is similar to the Blur Patches in Apex. Just not as deadly.

    2. That first mission of Apex. Start on the street, into the sewer back to the street. 2nd mission of Sutter. Start in Talos, enter sewer, Go to Skyway, Get out from under the "Rubble" Back to street level.

    3. And as you mentioned the IDF.

It just has too much of that "vibe". I am just glad that villains only do those as Co-ops and the devs don't waste our content on it.
  6. This Thread got me to thinking, the Master of Badges of the old TF/SF are a joke now, with the Alpha Level Shift and New Powers (Judgement, Lore, Interface, Destiny).

The Alpha power itself is not that bad, but for these badges the level shift shoudl be removed. Just like in the early days of the new difficulty settings would allow us to run them ar -1, this was removed to keep the challenge. I 'd like that to return for at least the Master Run.

All other Incarnate Powers should also be disabled for Master Runs.

I have seen mention of people wanting an "Incarnate version/level" Of course that would lead us in other direction while preserving the real "Master of" the older TF/SFs
  7. I could rant forever about that TF. I complained awhlie back aout it. I hated how they crammed 500 objectives into that little Nav bar, rehashed Apex and Tin Mage for lower levels.

The Bright spot was the Preatorian Fusionette and Faultline.

The villains will the new SF/TF award. Guess Devs hate heroes now.
  8. Combat Jump - Nice to have Immob and KB protect at lvl 7(Karma KB)

Full Auto - Reminds me of playing Mutant Chronicles RPG. Our phrase was "Rip a clip"

Trip Mine - Yes it is my Old School AR/DEV Blaster. I call it my Awesome Button

    Cloaking Device - Nice

Also, Sleet, Ice Rain, Blizzard and run away
  9. The problem will still be around. Because someone:
    1. will not set it to no just to grief others,
    2. some won't know how to turn them off. (Look at the acids on Lambda, people still don't know how to check to see if they have them)

I would love to have the option to turn them off after the 1st viewing.
  10. And yet with level shifts and incarnate powers, they still want a healer and tank for a normal TF...

Had some good bad and really ugly trials. The only thing I find irritating is everyone who leads these things will lead them different from others. Learn to adapt to what the lead says dont whine in league channel. I just sigh when I see " Thats not the way its done" come across the chat. The most irritating one is who do I hand my stuff too in LAM trial. I dont do that in mine I have my reasons. Mainly because Ive had several dc's on the person holding the temps. But if I say just use it yourself your a big kid and hit lol. Dont get snippy with me!
Speaking of Lambda... If I ever find those lvl 50 noobs that cannot tell if they have an Molecular Acid, I'd never invite them again.

    Astral Merits.

I convert as needed, that way wgeb they add something else to use them for, I have them.
  15. As long as your league-mates understand the stragtegies ahead of time there should be no problems.

This is similar to my opinion on Lambda, with the main gate. Some people insist on keeping it closed. I have no problem opening the gate. My opinion is by this stage in the game everyone should know the basics of aggro. If they don't they shoulod not be doing these trials.

If you are in the courtyard and have aggro, stay in the courtyard. Die there if you must.

If you are outside the walls don't attack anything, wait to summon pets until you are inside so a quirky AI won't lead them out.

  17. Most Blue side needs a revamp. That is why I play primarily redside.
  18. Congrats,
Something came up yesterday evening/night and I could not make. But if you decide to run anohter, I'd love to get my Merc/Dark on one, as he does have over 1200 badges atm.
  19. The Warehouse maps should look similar small Casino maps though made larger. That would be cool. Adding in an office room or 2, stairs to a small room and some catwalks.

Office buildings should be fairly linear, each floor being a similar layout to the others on the map to look like it was built by the same company. The elevators should not be in multiple areas, maybe 1 that accesses floors 1-4 and one that accesses 5-10... but the Boss spawns should be random. The elevators give the pop up asking which floor.

I thought I got one on my Dom the other night. I must be mistaken then.

    Uh...

I never had a problem with fusionette. But of course I wasn't trying to stealth, speed run, or herd mobs with her. I just played the missions. This is with various characters, scrappers, Tanks, PB, Controller and in RWZ add in MMs, Brutes, and Doms.

I would rather have Fusionette than Imperious anyday. With him flying around using AoE knockbacks to scatter mobs, the only thing he does right is charge after surgeons.
  22. @COOKIEM_NSTER is Cookie Monster on Twitter:

Me no get "Rock. Paper; Siccors" "Cookie Cookie Cookie" sounds MUTCH more fun, and ya win every time!

(Apparently he either has lots of typos like me, or he can't spell)
  23. I agree, we were doing a cuda when the message came up. I try to stay positive, but crap like this is uncalled for. An hour or so heads up would have been nice. Because then we could have sped a few missions up instead of shard farming.

    Lambda Sabatoge!

It is not Rocket science. If people don't understand the basics of aggro in the game by lvl 50, then they deserve to be on my ignore list.

    If the Gate/Door is open:
    a. if you are outside the courtyard, don't aggro any mobs inside.
    b. if youa re inside and have aggro, die with your boots on. DOn't run out the gate.

I have seen Maurader come to the areas of the Acid/Gernades many time when trying to get more. Too many times to think someone aggroes him. More like his aggro is link to every mob that spawns in the courtyard.

If I find the idiot you cannot find the Acid in his temp powers, he/she will not be on another run with me.

Most of the people I team with, I have known in game for a little while, there are a few new faces here and there.
