If there's one thing the SSA's have proven it's that the entire Freedom Phalanx is a bunch of dimwitted chumps... the entire team ought to be wiped and heroes with actual brains be brought in. I mean besides Miss Liberty, the Regulators are a better team!

With the increasing power level of the Incarnate slots- it really makes me wonder just how insanely powerful the Battalion will be when they hit.

Remember one of the original design ideas of the Battalion way back in the beginning (I think 2006 maybe?) was you needed IOs to even affect them.....

Hybrid may be a complete blurring of the AT inherent s- like a Scrapper with Containment or a Defender with Defiance.

Genesis- no freaking clue.

Vitae may be a self heal/Regen buff with the higher Tiers being a self Rez.

Mind has to be Mezz related- but whether it is self or mob-affecting remains to be seen.

the Knives, like most groups in game, are not against employing others to do their dirty work. That can be an angle. Also there's always the "female in disguise" RP route.

Hell.. be creative and say you're a KoA experiment at sentient caltrops!

My group often gets together in RWZ to help level our lowbies and farm stuff from Rikti misssions. After the Alpha wass out about a month we got together to farm some sharids (this is when they only dropped from 50s). The blaster was lamenting loudly all night in Skype how everyone was getting shards BUT her.. not a one.

At the end of the night I finally asked.. You did Ramiel's arc, right? She replied "Of course I did!!". Me- did you talk to Ramiel at the very end?........ her reply....

"CRAP!!! ARE YOU PANCAKEING KIDDING ME???????????"

Much hilarity was had (and still is) by all...

My guess.. the new starting point for the STF- even the location is more exciting than States!! "Quick.. try and start the TF before the Sushi eats YOU!"

A few things spring to mind...

1) Recluse siezes his opportunity and makes a serious push into Paragon City... I would guess Boomtown sees a serious uptick in Arachnos activity. Meanwhile he secretly tries to take out whoever offs States. Not through any feelings of revene but more "If he can kill States. I'm vunerable".

2) Wade's plans with Rularuu get even more bold. I'm wondering if he tries to become the new Well's Champion in order to free Rularuu. I do NOT see this ending well.. as Paragon & the RI will be caught square in the middle of a showdown of inter-dimensional god-like beings..... (I do see Wade going after The Midnight Club and Vanguard stepping in- possible a Vanguard incursion into the Shard)

3) Miss Liberty goes evil. This is the most obvious. She's teetering on the edge now with her heavy-handed activities in the RI with Longbow. This will push her right over the edge. I see her ordering a full-scale Longbow invasion, executions etc. I see the Regulators stepping in to stop her and a full scale "Civil War" scenario brewing.

One more thing about Wade. IF he becomes the Well's Champion... AND he is the Avatar of Rularuu as well... Could this finally be what brings The Battalion to earth? From the small hints we've gotten.. The battalion exterminated all the Kheldians to use as fuel for their fleets- IF they are 'attracted' to power sources.. wouldn't Wade then become the biggest dinner Gong in history?

I totally get what you mean. This is why I am VERY impatient for issue 22. I just want to be able to fight my way through Tips or missions at my own pace sometimes- sort of a .. "decompression" from work. Having a Incarnate zone will allow me to do that with my Incarnated 50s. I also want to be challenged with them. The Trials are a challenge but its more coordination as you said, also racing the clock at times or wierd mechanics. I just want to take my Tier 4'ed out Tanker into a mission of Incarnate enemies and see if I can get through with just guts and my playstyle. THAT will come with I22 (I hope)

My best memory was on my main, Benchpresser (Inv/SS Tank). The very last room of the Freaklympics. It was myself, a Emp/Dark Def (who took the minimum of blasts- wanted a pure healer) and a Storm/Elec Defender.

Now this was back in the days before the agro cap and right after the GDN so INV was pretty well gutted.

The Stormie had to go AFK so he flew up to the rafters... but not before agroing half the damn room....

So there I was, with nothing but a pacifist Emp to back me up.. standing in the doorway to the ceremony room with wave upon wave upon wave of Freaks piling in from both sides. My screen was nothingt but Freak faces.. I literally could not see any part of the room itself. The Emp was hovering at my side so I had to keep agro AND kill all at once. My speakers were crackling... all you could here was electric blasts, the buzz of rezzing Freaks and the dull THUDS of Smashers landing blows. The Emp must have cycled through her Auras about 8 times....

EVERY single Freak rezzed I swear. I was popping inspirations like skittles. I would drop deep into the red and Dull Pain would rechaerge just in time or the emp would hit me with Heal Other...we were both dancing on the edge of an End Crash, timing our powers so we just barely had a blue bar...

I didn't risk leading the Freaks around the room for fear of losing a lone agro and killing the Emp, so I stood still and just wailed away...

This went on for over 45 MINUTES!!!! Finally the last Freak Tank died a 2nd time and the Emp and I breathed a sigh of relief and a collective "OMG we survived!"

It was at that point we get a tell from the Stormie- "Sorry guys.. wife agro.. back. Wait.. where are the Freaks???"

ok.. the Dog was 500 points but this is only 160?????? Paragon needs to start selling whatever drugs the marketing drones are on- they would make a killing in the recreational pharmacuetical market...

Seriousdly.. this pisses me off even more about that damn dog..

Sorry TG, I meant to say if you listen to the BBC Audio Narrated story- even in just audio Troughton comes across very strongly from episode 1.

(prays for the day he can watch every story from "An Unearthly Child" to "Survival" in a row....)

Troughton "hit the ground running" as it were from the first few minutes of "The Power of the Daleks" and really established his Doctor from the get go.

The biggest problem is that Troughtons mastery of the role was rooted in his physical performance- his facial expressions and his body movements. Hopefully they will animate the whole story so we can see his 'evolution' as the Doctor in the beginning.

I had No idea they were recovering TV signals from space.. I SERIOUSLY hope they can continue to recover them... Its the only way we'll ever get "The Dalek Masterplan" back...

The only reason Troughton is under-appreciated is because of the dearth of surviving episodes.

Sad that it's another episode from arguably Troughton's worst story- BUT now there's hope the BBC will animate the remaining 2 missing parts and release the "complete" story on DVD.

(I'm seriously Hoping that next year's release of "The Reign of Terror" with 2 animated episodes does well enough in sales that the BBC will plan other reconstructions. I know they commissioned a 2nd animation other than Reign but no idea what it is.. my guess.. Ice Warriors)
