If you are not invited to the Freedom closed beta, installing the beta server right now is a waste of time. It's locked out to the riff-raff.
-

Starting last Friday, subscribers will accumulate 400 PP per month (as long as, during that month, they a) buy game time, b) apply a game card, or c) have a monthly anniversary of the day they bought a block of game time) until Freedom launches. And until Freedom launches, there is no way to see the points on the live servers, and nothing to spend them on anyway. When Freedom goes into open beta (or if you get invited to closed beta), you can go on the beta to see how much you have accumulated at that time.

The middle mouse button is mbutton, not button3. There is no button3. (lbutton, rbutton, mbutton, button4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

No kidding. On the old updater, I was typically capped around 100KB/s...don't remember exactly. On the new launcher, I get upwards of 800+, 900+, I've gone over 1k+ KB/s a few times.
The new launcher is stupidly resource intensive if you just leave it sitting around, but closing it after use is very simple (it's a checkbox in the options). -
The file contains the chunk. Open it in a text editor.

Base buffs are stupid-cheap, and endurance drain resistance is available for the low low price of vendor trash salvage.

I use the Wedding Pack and the Magic Pack costume parts more often than any purchased costumes. I use Ninja Run (skipping a real travel power) on almost every single character that doesn't have a concept travel power and Beast Run on a handful of more feral characters. I throw around Mystic Fortune and Self-Mutate a lot, but I wouldn't miss them if they were removed from the game.

Yes, post the data chunk on the Mids forum for one of the Mids team (probably Diellan) to parse through:

You also get 2 character tokens if you were subscribed during Issue 12's release, which granted 2 freebie slots.

Well, it's Rx10. He is apparently playing a different game than everyone else is; if you don't believe me, take a peek at his posting history. Though be forewarned because he has some serious crazy in there. O.o;

This is my favorite arc in the whole game, redside, blueside, and goldside combined. The fact that it is six years old and is still my favorite arc really says something to me (both good in that I am glad they had such solid writers to ensnare me so well, and bad in that I find so much of the more recent writing to be lacking). The first time I ran it, I actually teared up a couple times; in fact, I'm tearing up a little bit just remembering the first time running it. I make sure to run it on every villain I take up to that range; I've even flashbacked to it a couple times on my lv50 villain. (Kind of painful to malefactor that far. Gah.)

Nope. The best you can do is /cleartray (which removes all power icons from your tray, while preserving macros) and put everything back where it was before. I typically do this by taking a screenshot, opening it up max-screen-size, and then comparing before-and-after with the game post-respec.

"Here, I found this same exact link that was posted ten hours ago! WEEEE I am awesome!"
(Tis all in fun, I am just hugely amused by people who don't really read upthread.) -
Quote:Pay attention to the (necro) post you are responding to: look at the date at the bottom of the list. It is not working fine. It hasn't updated since June 24.It looks to be working fine to me. Shows all servers as Up, and Training Room as Unknown, which is normal.
Not to mention the formerly-EU servers should be added to the list instead of having to navigate manually to eu.cityofheroes.com to get them. The status link in the launcher goes to the NA servers. -
There is no way to do this in-game. If you have a macro-capable keyboard, mouse, or other input device (nostromo n52, etc), you can manually create a macro with that device's macro-making/recording software to do that for you.

The buffs they changed (well, other than Increase Density, which just needed a buff anyway) were all buffs that were meant to be kept on the whole team all the time. Fortitude is not such a buff.

Quote:Both of them depend on which way you are leaning when you lose control. If you are leaning forward in a swoon or are collapsing, you will fall forward; if you are leaning backward, you will fall backward. It doesn't matter whether you are swooning or collapsing. The idea you are suggesting is verging on dumb. The swoon and collapse one are still kinda mixed up - in RL, you usually semm to fall backwards when you faint, and fall forwards when you collapse
I have personally fainted twice in the last couple years (multiple times as a youth), and neither time did I fall at all! I was already horizontal. So obviously I didn't actually faint at all, as there was no backward movement! *snerk* -

80% (possibly more) of my characters were already "support" characters. And the same amount of my characters, going forward, will probably still be "support" characters. I play support/healer in all the games I play.

Mmmm, supper speed... I'll take roast beast to go, please...
Yes, Steamy Mist stacks with Super Speed. Super Speed stacks with every other kind of stealth power out there. -
Hello? ... Bueller? ... Bueller? ... Bueller? ...
Quote:Did *anyone* get this "patch"?Patch notes for build 2050.201106290226.1.
My launcher says:
local version - 2050.201106210214.1.0
server version - 2050.201106210214.1.0
...and does not have an option to update to 290226.1.
