Ok here is magnetic. Unlocked it hoping for a less comical version of clunker but its just as bad IMO.

Personally I think magnetic looks better when selecting the head or fist options. The debris is much smaller and less obtrusive allowing it to be integrated with more character designs. I also find it to goes a bit better as a combat mode aura. YMMV
EDIT: And just so we're clear, the debris does have a 'comet tail' as it orbits you. That is the only part the assigned colour affects. As with most other auras, the darker (closer to the left side) you make it, the less visible the trails are.

This brings me to a QOL issue that I've been wondering about for a while:
Why can't we see small previews of what the auras, costumes, etc look like before we purchase them.
If I'm being asked to spend 3 emp merits on a costume piece than I better be able to know what the heck it looks like. Hopefully this gets implemented soon.

In the mean time, you could always just check em all out via the Test Server, that's what I plan on doing sometime (if its still available?)
In I21, all costumes and auras will be previewable before the unlock.
Don't think that will be true with emotes, though.

But couldn't you go to test to preview? I agree it isn't ideal, but if you can install a test copy on your system, then you can port over your toon with the most merits as many times as needed to purchase and check out new costumes, auras, and emotes.
