Tried playing a domi so many times but i find that i always run out of steam playing them. Played Dark/Psi recently and Plant/Psi played an elec dom too.
i cant seem to stick with them. I find doms intriguing and have always wanted a perma dom, but i find them tedious at low levels. Thats why i wana play a Fire dom cause i leveled a Fire/kin way back when and feel like i could play another.
Is it just me or are the control primaries getting a little old now? until dark recently, the newest powerset was elec! Where as melee have had 2 or 3 new powersets in the last year(ish) alone.
I really want a 50 dom and have since CoV was released but other that fire which as mentioned, i have previously leveled as a troller. No powerset wows me.

Is there any other way for this to be done on the hero side? I have just got my girlfriends character to 20 and used a once only alignment change to make her a hero so we can team together. But she wants to make another costume already used the one u get at 20 and she wants another one. I didnt realise u could get this costume till it was too late. Any answers would be appricated thanks

Hello just posting a build i think you might like or may want to copy add and change to your preference. nearly capped melee and ranged defence with quite cheap IO's or so i believe. The ATO is in there but in my opinion its not exactly rare. A few LotG's aswell but like has been previously said a few hero merits and they are yours. Anyways here is a build i made for you im currently levelling a Stj/Shield Brute myself lvl 37! Also watch out for medicine not got it in my build yet, Heard there making some changes to it soon so might be worth a look. Enjoy!

Okay. Im definatly leaning more towards Time or Dark. The pet in dark sounds good but time has more concepts i can use aswell as +rech powers for RoA.
Is the stealth in Dark a must have power? Because i dont really want to get it. Also what powers would u say not to take in Time? -
Hello all. Been thinking of making a Archery corrupter. As i purchased the roman costume a while back and have not used the really cool Bow u get with it yet. Im unsure what secondry i want to play and have been looking on the forums. Kin was my first idea lots of dam and +rech for faster RoA etc. But reading up on kin which i have played to 50btw on a controller there seems to be no damage mitigation.
So my question is what secondry do you think is best with archery and why?
Also been looking at traps but not sure if i would like the re-draw all the time others on my shortlist would have to be dark or TA which i know TA is quite underpowered but there would be no re-draw problems.
Anyways any help or idea's from people with expirience would be appriciated thanks -
One thing that has annoyed me about spines for a while, Is that Quills no longer remains withdrawn if you press escape or you go back to a passive stance. I can remember way back when, on my spines/regen quills once toggle'd would never need to re-draw so to speak. Will this ever be an option in the costume creator perhaps? Cause i have two spines characters and both of them have there costumes designed for quills to be actively out.

Tell me about it was really leaning towards dark/psi/ice but think bout plant too might make em both and see which one wins my heart then just delete other and re-name if need be. :-p

Hmm what is the damage like on dark and psi secondries? Which one has most damage and which has most survival? i like the idea of Psi cause my character im re-amking is called Myst icicle and something about Psi make's me think mystical :P
Also im torn between plant or dark primaries. Dark Seems to have more what i want AoE control and a confuse but the cone immob seems abit weak? Plant seems to be very popular so im leaning more towards dark but im still really unsure of what to make. -
ive been thinking of making a domi and wanted to make one who was AoE based but not Fire i was thinking Dark/Psi/Fire. But the character i have in mind is a re-vamp of my old Ice/Ice corr. So i wouldnt mind trying something with Ice. But not sure ice control has what im looking for what is icy assault like in general regards to ST dam and AoE.
Would really like some help as i have never played a Domi over the likes of lvl10 or so. What i would really like is some nice AoE both control and damage with some form of heal. Not really sure what sets would be good together please help! -
Ive seen a few builds of TW/Elec floating about. and wanted to post the build im thinking of making the character is level 37 already and was wondering if i am going wrong any where. My choice on Incarnte powers are the +damage alpha +regen destiny and the toxic/ -hp interface.
I want him to tank/damage deal so i have taken taunt as being an old tanker i just like the ability to pull the aggro off team mates.

lol! Well thats what i have just done. Went all the way to blue side thinking it would unlock hero Epic pool but found out it didnt so had to go all the way back to red side!!! Wasnt very happy when i had realized it. :P

I am a lvl44 VEAT i have'nt done any missions really other than morality missions and when i go speak to any of the contacts to get the mission so i can get the ancillary pool opened up they just tell me to go away. Do i need to do something to unlock them? i have been powerleveling myself in AE so not done any proper missions if that makes a difference?

I have jus started a KM/FA Brute and was wondering if anyone has one to tell me what there like im familiar with FA but KM if completely new to me. i was wondering how the siphon power works ive read the description and used it on mobs but i dont get the stacking is it AoE and you need 5 enemy to get it to work? Also what is the level 18 power AoE like? Just generally what people think of the synergy and also some tips on KM cause im a little lost.

Ive been away from the game since i14 and jus come back to find servers merged. So i want to re-roll on the US server and with a SS/SD brute but im kinda stuck on mids been trying to work out how to get 45%def on melee, ranged and AoE but the closest i can get is 40% Could some one help me with a build please or point me in the right direction.

Ok so im back after a break from CoH, i uninstalled the game last time as i thought i wouldnt be coming back.
So i reinstalled the game an patched it all ready to go! One problem i accidently deleted the updater an i cant seem to fix it. CoH is located in the usual place an looked there an there is no shortcut just the game an files etc.

At first I was thinking it should be Single Shot instead. But since you are dual wielding a pair of guns and it is an epic power, it sounds kinda weak.
But then I was thinking maybe Aimed Shot, since it would have a bit more power then.
However if a "mob-control" power is needed it should be Web Grenade then.

The reason i felt caltrops was a better choice than a web grenade was because the Dual Gun Mastery was meant to be a AoE set. Archery was meant to be single target set. So thats the reason Web nade was in archery an caltrops in Dual gun mastery.
TBH though.. i wish they would just look at scrapper epics cause they seriously need to be looked at. I mean how many scappers do you see with the weapon mastery. I only ever see people with Focussed Accuracy, Conserve power an the odd laser beam eyes. i think i seen one person with the dark mastery. Ive been playing the game for a couple of years now that has to say something about the dark an weapon set? -
Although it sounds cool i think body mastery is better name for it as "Chi" implies that your probably a martial artist. Body could be a ranged.
ie a science scrapper where horrible expirement made your bones stick out of your body (spines) an your invincible.
Or your a martial artist.
