  1. See what happens. I have lots of toons so I might make an appearance on or the other!
  2. That's great! Now, Total Domination - Can I skip it? Or is it better with 6 slots? What would I use more leveling: Total Domination or Mass Hypho?
  3. I'm leveling a Mind/Psi dominator and need slotting help. How do I slot generic IOs as I level? Obviously, my attacks are acc X2, dmg x2, rchrg x2 but what about my holds? Do I slot for hold (or sleep or confuse) or for damage?
  4. * Kill them first
    * Roll /SR or /ELA that resists slows
    * Kill them fast
  5. What time is this meeting tonight? Is there a specific naming theme? This is starting Blueside?
  6. I'd be interested in this...Perhaps you should post this in the Brute Section?
  7. How was the leveling process? Slow? Did you slot set bonuses early or wait until 50? When did you start using IOs? How did you slot as you leveled?

    SS/SD or SS/WP?

    I already have two /WP characters (EM/WP Brute & FM/WP Scrapper).

I'd like to do SD for something different. Is /SD endurance heavy? I'm a fairly casual player so I don't have time to to dedicate to IO-ing a new 50 out (when I hit 50).

My other option is to do SS/WP which would compliment my casual playstyle; unless I can survive with /SD?
  9. I still like Redside.

Not going to try and justify myself, because if you don't like Redside, I'm not going to convince you anymore than you will convince me to play Blueside more.
  10. I don't think Redside is dead per se...It just doesn't get much love because:

    Let's try again.
After City of Villains was released, Cryptic slashed the dev team for the entire game to less than 20 people, so the studio could focus on new projects and still technically meet their contract with NCSoft. The dev team made a conscious decision that the things they could do should be things that had the biggest impact for the most players, so neither side got much in the way of specific development. NCSoft saw it was a money maker for them and a game worth improving, so when the time came they bought out Cryptic and took over the dev team and made it much larger.

That's a severely trimmed version of events, but it's more accurate than the slanted synopsis you were given. Beware oversimplification, the full story is often a lot more complicated.
Frankly, I really don't mind. Redside is quieter than Blueside and therefore less laggy:

However, a lot of the truly skilled players I met were on red side, rather than blue. Just a personal observation.

My job is spent pleasing other people. Yay. customer care. It's nice to do things for myself, outside of working hours.

    Being bad is so good.

    I Knew It!

This will probably get me in trouble with the Red Names but it's been nagging at my memory since I came back (a month or so ago).

    Zwillinger.
  13. I see a lot of Hero Stalkers on Virtue. Maybe you just need to switch sides?
  14. I want pins that say "Redside Power!" or "City of Villains 4ever!"

    Make those. Diddy-mao. Diddy-mao!!
  15. Speaking for all Redsiders everywhere, we most definitely enjoy having attention on our side of the game!
  16. I've been playing CoV since 2005 (breaking b/w 2008-2011). I had no idea you could go in the Money Fight Club! I thought the CC was outside!
  17. Thanks for the prize, Hero/Twisted Dawn! I'm very proud of my character! It means a lot!

Sorry I logged out fast, I was awfully tired.
  18. I'm liking this new side of Dechs! :P

So, Tankers get a tiny Fury Jr., sorta.
  19. So only your first, starting attack (that you start at level 1 with) "Bruises?" What does it do for a tanker? What was it intended to do?
  20. In doing research into Tankers I've come across this Bruising term. What is [Bruising]? Does it help Tankers solo?
  21. Gosh-darnit! I would have made a Tanker for this!

Have you played other MMOs lately? City of Villains has always been one of the easier games to grasp. And it still is, I'd say.

    Wow. Passive-aggressive much?

Passive–aggressive behavior, a personality trait, is passive, sometimes obstructionist resistance to following through with expectations in interpersonal or occupational situations. It is a personality trait marked by a pervasive pattern of negative attitudes and passive, usually disavowed resistance in interpersonal or occupational situations.

Let me see you police boards this big!
