Maybe I am getting old, but when I was growing up, Ninjas were the big thing. As a product of the 80s (born in the 70s), it is hard for me NOT to use the new options.
Now I can make a Sho Nuff character, I can do Storm Shadow, Sho Kosugi, An American Ninja, Characters from the Ninja Scrolls, and any number of other Ninja characters from my childhood. Shoot Stephen K. Hayes is now jealous of all the cool Ninja things I can do! -
Go for it. Personally I think this is the best booster yet, but to each their own.
-
Quote:I agree with this.Yep.
Between the LGTF revelations, the Alpha-Omega anniversary and the plethora of ways for level 1 characters to have capes in defiance of game lore that says they can't, it would have been far better for the cape missions to just go away.
Also I hope the tag along cape earning method posted in this thread is not a bug, and remains. -
My toggles. I mostly play scrappers and brutes, so I stick my toggles at the top of it, and run my travel toggles at the bottom of it. I keep it at the top right with my health bar, so if a toggle drops it is in a place where I am constantly looking and can catch it.
-
Jerks are every where. Seemed like the problem was his, and you are most likely better off that you are on his ignore list.
-
Like many others, it was my first character in CoX, and my first 50.
-
If test server is an indication, it will come with the holiday event.
As for power suits, if you use armored options you can get the bulky power suit look. -
-
I really hated the old raid. It was no one thing, it was just boring. I hated it so much, I am yet to try the new one.
-
Quote:Cat is right, but getting a ship raid on a low pop server is near impossible, or during a holiday event. I am a grind player, so I get them running Borea missions, but I know all players don't want to do that. You get one per mission from the LGTF.
The answer is ship raids, about 3-4 of them should get you the full outfit.
I also think the prices on some the items should be reduced. The prices were fine when the raid was new, and it was getting run a lot, but now not so much. -
You also can not get the warrior belt with tight top option. So, you can not do yakuza tattoo top with Japanese pants, and the Warrior belt.
-
Quote:This alone I may would take a second mortgage for.
Instant Healing as a toggle -
Quote:Werner, I agree they are done nerfing as a reaction to what the game can do, the sad part is that they will not consider reviewing some of the knee jerk decisions the old "vision" brought about. It's been a long long time since I've noticed the devs tossing out a nerf in response to what we're capable of at the very top end. I think they're quite aware of what we can do, and they're doing the same things on their own characters. When Dual Blades/Willpower came out, was it Castle that was achieving a high success rate at the RWZ challenge BEFORE releasing it? If the devs are still suffering under any illusions of what the game they built allows, that would be sad.
Still. NINE. Sheesh. Maybe we DO need a nerf. Thanks, Nihilii.
It is a superhero game, and what was done here was super, and SHOULD be achievable. -
A single merit would even be more valuable.
-
What I remember is:
Regen Scrappers ruled!
You could get 2 and sometimes 3 Hammi-Os per run.
That was all good stuff. I have 4 kids, so it not being organized didn't bother me any. -
That is really amazing, and my math skills will never bee good enough to pull something like that off. But, do you remember when Regen was nerfed? It was because of things like this. That's not a dig, just saying remember the past to protect us from the future.
Again, Congratz on something super super cool. -
Quote:Agree. I am glad to have them, but I am hoping the new animator gets a chance to do us some new ones.I use the old ones, I was very disappointed with the new I16 MA anims, I'm among the few ppl who think their punches do not look like Martial Arts at all unfortunately...
Maybe they wanted to give the set a "street fighting" feeling, but the result is sad, at least for my taste^^ -
Rune of warding is my favorite temp power of all time, but sadly it is not the 66mo reward. Should be in a post by Zombie Man on this page. The pic I copied to here is also by zombie man

Well no news is good news I guess. I will just have to choose between the two. Can some one tell me if the end use on DA ever gets better? at lvl 33 it is my biggest frustration.

I look forward to your advice.

I am at a point of frustration with the build, because I can't decide which direction to go with it. I have two builds I am considering, and at worst will just do them both.
The first is a +def build. I am new to +def, and need some help rounding it out. I am up for advice, as I will admit +def builds are pretty alien to me.
The second is a high damage build, and I flushed +def. This one looks loads of fun, but I am not sure it will work as well in practice as it does in theory.

I have seen several posts about run stances, and people's willingness to pay for then. So my questions, is what would you pay for in a booster pack?
I would like to see a booster pack devoted to dance emotes.
Edit: I have all of the booster, and anything else CoX has tried to sell me. I see no problem with spending extra money for extra stuff of any kind. -
I paid 10$ for a prestige sprint, 4 emotes, and some great costume options.
I was wondering if we could get the Warrior belt with the tight chest option? -
Yup, same direction as the last one.
No need for public violence these days. MMA schools are a dime a dozen, and most times are more than willing to let members duke it out. If that dosen't work, you can check several web pages (or PM me for a good one) where people regularly schedule travel time, and locations for perfectly legal "sparing" matches.
What I don't understand is the need to hide behind anonymity. Over the years I have had several occasions to disagree with other posters, and had no problems sending them PMs, or just openly disagreeing. Then again, my PMs tend to be somewhat reasonable. Why be shy? There are several people in this thread I disagree with, but at least they are in the open about being a jerk at times, so while I may dislike what they say, I still respect their willingness to say it in the open. -
Small note, CoD no longer completely covers the costume. I only note this because I thought it did, and almost skipped the power because of it. With i16 CoD can be made very minimal with the right color choices. This is a great guide, and one of the few I have ever read all the way through.
