Considering my love affair with Kin, not much. I guess this means I officially will have to update my namesake's build even though she's been unofficially retired for a couple of years. This actually helps my Ill/emp since she was without Stamina anyway. I also honestly don't know what some builds are going to add.
-
Well, on a number of characters I honestly don't know what I would sub in for the three extra powers. Saying that, /sr scrappers can now easily fit in a travel power.
-
/rad and /ta would be good. /kin is solid as well. My Mind/kin is in the 30s and he soloed all, but one mission for the Striga zone arcs. I've probably pulled out more stuff from who knows where playing that build than any other.

Controller, Spider, and blaster. Get them all to level 22 at least as it shouldn't be too hard to get those final levels to do that. I know the controller and Spider should be the two that you look forward the most for getting new powers.

While tedious, I like it better on teams that get out of my way and let me do my job of handling alpha strike. Bots/ff is a lot like FF. It may not do a lot of different things, but what it does is freaking awesome.
I don't have a simple answer for what needs to happen to FF to make it better. I would rather do a simple do over on the set, but then it's a completely different beast. I kind of like how it's the king of the bad PuG defender set. Too bad once you get a team that's above that level, the other defensive defender sets are vastly better options. -

End drain is hit, or miss. There are a number of times I can get the end bar to go down at the same rate as health does, but I think in terms of higher end AVs, you most likely need two sappers to consistently pull it off. Note this is based on playing a level 50 Kin/elec defender. Without Transference, and one that uses some sort of buff(Power Build Up), I think doing draining on AVs(certainly higher end ones) will be rather difficult solo.

Earthquake can be used on a as needed basis with the sheer amount of control you will have. Use Cages as needed. I used them a lot early when the build was still coming together, but it gets dampened later on. The biggest no no is using them to visually clog any entrance way.

/ice will also be a rather good option. It might be my current default pick for a defender.
-
Grado has two different kinds. Not sure which one would work best for exercising though. I'll assume they are pricey, but I love my SR-60. Best headset I've used.
-
Get the AV combo and call it good. It's the only real "need" one. It also lets you kind of work your way into the set not having to worry about combos early on.
-
Empathy has the most heals if that's what you are hell bent on. If DPS doesn't matter, than a Ill/emp controller is going to be your ideal. Red side could use more Phant anyway.

Quote:I just looked and it came in at 14th and after next week's drops in theaters I can't see it all but being hardly shown in the US. I don't see it lasting a 5th week. On the plus side, the foreign sales have gone from 1mil to 6mil so it's finally getting shown outside of the US and it's past 30mil for total sales.Yea, it looks like a two week before option to bail contract. It was pulled from 44% of the screens for this weekend. It did drop below the magical $2K per theater weekend threshold that usually foreshadows a film being dropped for something new.
I think it'll do well on DVD/Blu-Ray, unless the nation has evolved past owning copies of a movie. -
I also believe they are adding more to the comic. The reason the movie didn't follow the comic as much is because the movie was being done before the comic was finished.
-
Am I the only one who is thinking he should be using fire versus bullets, or do bullets work that well in the comics?
-
Since Kick-*** was such a blockbuster I can see this doing well. Looks to be a Netflix pick at best and that's factoring in Page.

There's also a version with a Bieber(sp?) song that's used. It's a flash in the pan movement, but it's interesting.

Quote:I'll have to get the specifics later, but off the top of my head it's a Dell XPS slimcase that had 160GM hard drive, 2GB RAM, the card was something like a x600 maybe. For the processor I can't recall. I would have to look up my PC at Dell to get that info. I know it had a 250watt power supply that could max out at 275 IIRC.What did you have previously? Tell us the CPU and graphics card and we'll see what people can come up with in that price range that will give you a better computer.
Are the combo deals at newegg already put together, or do you have to do those yourself? Example -
My current PC died on me. I haven't built one before so doing it myself looks to be a rather low option. I've poked around and done small stuff to my current tower, but that's it. Looking around likely $500, or so($700) price wise. Mostly looking at decent processor, RAM, and power supply. Graphics are card after that since I wouldn't be doing a ton of gaming, but would like to run current stuff decently enough. I've been so use to running CoH on low graphics anything would be an improvement due to my current PC being 4-5 years old. Hard drive space is a non-issue. Willing to go with lesser stuff(RAM, GFX card) if it's easily upgradeable. I tend to use computers for as long as they can go.

How dare people talk about a movie they like in a thread about the movie. I mean, what are those people thinking?
Am I disappointed it didn't do better? Yes. I'm not exactly surprised it got third out of the big 3 opening this past weekend. -
Please tell me in the wealth of reviews via critics and people here were you are getting that idea from? Hell, SP has a thread here with more posts in it and even on PU there is no Expendables thread while there is a SP one. Granted, being well written isn't the point of Expendables, but at least it's one thing I can say about SP that you can't for Expendables. Hell, even in the first review here the person described Expendables as being "....weird."

Anybody who thinks this is a chick flick needs to hand in their gamer geek card.
