Earbuds for running?

So kinda of a random question.

Anyone got a good recommendation for a pair of earbuds that are good for running, and other athletic activities? I've gone through a bunch of earbuds, but it seems none of them stay in very well when I am running. All the sweat and stuff just makes them slip right out.
Would prefer to stick with earbuds over headphones, due to the smaller size, and the fact that they can fit in my pocket.

Good luck...I can't even find a pair that stays in while *standing*. One always falls out.

I do a semi unorthodox tactic, that actually makes them stay in much better. I take a tiny piece of duct tape, and wrap it around the outside of each earbud (must completely cover the area just outside the speaker 360) when I did this with my recent earbuds they stayed in quite nicely. Also, I have seen a few of my friends walking around with some that have little pieces of plastic the go around the outside and back of the ear to keep it in place like a bluetooth earpiece. Hope that helps.

Like Furio, my ears just don't seem to be made for most earbuds. I found a pair of headphones at Wal-Mart though several years ago that combined the in-ear buds with the metal band, and it's worked out very well. Extremely lightweight too. I must have my tunes to walk or jog.

See here for several different kinds. I'm not positive the kind I have are made anymore, but they were very similar to the 6th style down, the S2. Might want to check Wal-Mart or Target, sometimes they have that stuff and cheaper.

Currently, I'm using these:

I got them on sale for about $25 CDN. They're slightly offset, and I think they have pretty decent sound, and I have no slippage. Granted, I don't do a lot of working out.

Thank you, Champion.

I use the kind of headphones that wrap around the back of the head and are an over-the-ear rather than in it. There's a small tab that rests on the top of the ear.

Something to read re: earbuds.

I really don't care for ear buds, for the reasons others have said. I don't listen to music a lot when I run, because the time length length I run/ride is longer than my ages old MP3 can hold music-wise, and my collection is pretty small, so while I do love the music, I'd rather not hear most the songs 2-3 times a day, almost every day. But, when I do bring the mp3 player, I use the a cheapy pair of loopy ear/headphones/clip ons, with bendy clips. They never fall out/off, they sound good, and I've had them 3ish years, which I understand to be a long time for these types of things

Grado has two different kinds. Not sure which one would work best for exercising though. I'll assume they are pricey, but I love my SR-60. Best headset I've used.

Hahaha that's funny. Skullcandy is worthless eh?

I'm partial to the official iPod earbuds. Maybe because I've had bad experiences with others and I can get these online for $10 New in box.

I'm using these Sennheiser earbuds, and they work great - they kind of lodge in your ears with these rubber bumper thingies, and it sticks them in there pretty well. It even comes with a couple different sizes of bumpers so you can adjust it to your own ear. They also do a really good job blocking sound, and the sound quality is really great. The only downside is when you bump the cord you can hear it - I just secure it so it's not dangling.
