Quote:Adding in more recovery debuff just gives the set more control type options than would be warranted. I don't think end drain by itself is so amazing that Elec couldn't use a buff in it's damage. Sure, something like a Kin/elec can do some interesting things, but put /elec with other sets and it makes end drain far more ho hum. From my perspective, the most annoying thing about "sapping" is that you have to keep them there, and once they have even a sliver of endurance, they can take shots at you. Which is why I want to see their endurance STAY at zero longer. If we could get a -recovery attached to the drain for the standard debuff duration, that would make me very happy.
Example;
Charged Bolts would drain 7 endurance and debuff recovery for 6 seconds
Lightning Bolt would drain 10 endurance and debuff recovery for 10 seconds
I do think part of the problem with targets attacking when they have even a sliver of end is that attacks seem to take so little end for them to use. I don't think end draining really limits the options for them in terms of attacks either. Not that I've specifically watched to see if something like a Warrior boss pulls off a Headsplitter attack with how little of end, but my guess is it takes a low amount of end for them to do it.
Also note for Elec control the recovery that is given to you is much more noticeable than anything in Elec blast. -
If are willing to try a different support set with Elec, you very may well want to try a Elec controller. Elec blast suffers from being a blast set that is given control and end drain. It can't do a lot of damage due to the control and end drain, but it can't do control and end drain too much because it's a blast set. Elec control suffers from none of this identity crisis. It is one of the better control sets out there. /rad, /sonic, /cold, and /kin will work in a unofficial order of best to better. My namesake is a level 50 Kin/elec and it's been at 50 for something like 13 issues. I can't in any way roll another /elec defender.

Rad/rad and Dark/dark to me play a lot like outside of Dark's controls. /rad can be viewed as the fastest paced due to the default attack having such a quick recharge.

So, on a busy day for me I noticed this topic before a mod did.

Storm/en wins most chaotic. Probably any debuff set paired with /sonic, or /ice will let you be the most aggressive.

Quote:And she didn't even direct that one.Yeah, I remember seeing this before Harry Potter and for a split second--when Oldman appeared onscreen, it caught my interest. That, however, didn't last long. But then my interest was peaked again when I saw that it was being directed by the director of Twilight. Hear me out here.
Like so many of you I dismissed Twilight as being ridiculously melodramatic garbage written by an insecure woman that had been hit in the head with a brick at an early age. You know, the sort of thing that my cat would instinctively bury in his litter box. Then one day while at my sister's house, she had it on, and I decided it wouldn't be fair to badmouth it without having seen it. This was the second one, mind you.
And it was AWESOME.
Seriously, I had no idea. It was quite possibly the most over-the-top hilarious comedy I have ever seen. What I said earlier about it being melodramatic? Well, it's taken so far that it's hysterical. And every time the Down's Syndrome faced werewolf boy has long hair for whatever reason, I just died. I couldn't breathe, I was laughing so hard. Just watching any of them trying to act...it's unreal. Great actors trying to act badly couldn't act that bad. If Keanu Reeves was in the film, the acting would have actually improved.
Seriously, if you can see it for the comedy it is, it's a ton of fun to watch. Somehow it's even funnier that it's so unbelievably retarded and yet it's meant to be taken seriously.
So, I'm thinking this Red Riding Hood might be great fun to watch, if it can somehow be as pants ****tingly hilarious as Twilight.
I am a disapointed that Oldman is in it though. He's better than that. I guess even Oldman just needs to get paid every now and again. -
/regen and /wp bloom the earliest. Kat and BS bloom early due to Parry and DA, but bloom from an offensive point of view later on. Claws and Dark bloom as fast as anything. DB is close behind, but I still think DB comes into it's own at 26 so it's not really early. I haven't really tried MA since the changes(too many alts, too many breaks from the game) so I'm not 100% how well it does early.

I was making reference to Kathy Perry.
"Hot" is the most overrated term to describe someone's beauty. Ever. I had a friend who use to call pretty much any girl "hot" unless she was obviously on the lesser attractive side. I'm like, "Get a thesaurus." It's like people can't think of any other way to describe the person so they just say they are hot. I also find it interesting that such a vast number of people considered hot by the media and masses I don't really find all that attractive. I would much rather date somebody who is cute, pretty, or beautiful although some combo of cute and pretty works best. -
The director of Twilight thing wouldn't be bad if it felt like it was it's own movie, but this screams like they made the movie specifically for the Twilight crowd and had no shame in doing so.

Quote:My only issue with Ill/storm is that I still haven't come to terms with Hurricane and Ill/storm feels like it needs it. I guess I prefer more straightforward powers that don't force me to think about them while I'm using them.I don't feel Illusion/Rad is overrated. So far, I have Ill/Rad, Ill/Storm and Ill/TA at 50, an Ill/Kin in the mid 30s and as I said above, I'm working on an Ill/Cold. I also have quite a few other controllers at 50 and lower levels -- I have taken every controller primary other than Electric past 40, and my Elec/Rad is 35. Illusion/Radiation is still my favorite due to its flexibility to deal with almost every type of situation. My Ill/Rad is the first character I pull out to do anything new or tough. It may be that I find the Ill/Cold to be awesome once it hits 50 and then is fully slotted, but so far, it doesn't come close to Ill/Rad.

Quote:+1. [/thread] If I were still in my crack level playing days, I would definitely have a Ill/cold. It's likely 3rd in my list of Ill builds I would do. Ill/rad and Ill/ta being above it.For the specific task of soloing AVs or charting on the kill-a-pylon contest Cold Domination is probably "better" than Radiation. It is a very single-target oriented combo and nothing really competes with some of it's monster single target debuffs. But IMO Illusion/Radiation itself is an already grossly overrated combo. The fact is Illusion Control is so good any combo you pair it with is guaranteed to be good at something.

"How do I use combos?"
"not using him to his full potential even tho hes powerful"
"Unenhanced"
"Hosting a raid"

Quote:Outside of comic book geeks, Luke doesn't have enough draw to land on one of the major networks and thus having a chance of being good.id rather they make a TV show about a character id want to see.
EDIT: Brain farted Smallville, but I can't see Luke Cage on the WB sticking around long at all. -

Watched it in full screen HD. The mask/eyes is the one thing that looks the most messed up. Outside of that though, the effects look decent enough. Some of the cast is likely a little too C level *cough*Blake*cough*, but let's hope they aren't given too much screen time.

Well, it made $11.6mil by the weekend which sadly enough might have actualy beat Scott Pilgrim.
