KM/??? Brute or Scrapper?
KM/SD Scrapper
In general, anything that operates on the basis of damage buffs is going to tend to be stronger on a Scrapper, because Scrappers have a high base damage.
Brutes, in contrast, get their Scrapper-ish levels of damage from relatively low base damage but pretty high levels of +damage from Fury. That means that +damage from other sources will have to add with the +damage from Fury, which tends to have a smaller impact on the total. (This is usually exacerbated by the fact that Brutes have slightly lower self buff scales for damage than Scrappers.)
So if your goal is peak unconditional DPS, go Scrapper.

With the way PS works I think it would be better for a Scrapper. Now both /SR and /SD are good, but it is just hard for me these days to pick /SR over /SD. So I would make a KM/SD Scrapper.
I know this should probably be a whole new topic but...do you guys think KM is superior to DM also?
Her probably means in terms of top tier damage for that comparison as well. I defer to the number crunchers on that one, though it's obvious that Dark Melee has more direct utility, such as a magnitude 3 Fear (I think that's correct), a life drain, and an AoE Endurance drain.

DM does more damage if you can keep SD fodder around, as well as healing you during the process and dealing a less resisted damage type.
I think KM's advantage of dealing the same, already great damage regardless if you're fighting 1 or 10 foes shouldn't be underestimated either.
So there's pros and cons to both, in my opinion. KM if you just want to jump in and whack things, DM if you want more survivability and are willing to adapt your playstyle in order to maximise your potential.
Hello, I was wondering your guys' opinion on scrappers and brutes for the KM set. I want to be able to solo AV's but also be able to team decently at least. I have a KM/NIN Stalker that I love, love, love, so i definitely want to go KM/something also. I was thinking KM/SD or KM/SR would be good (SD for AAO and SR for quickness). I suppose my question is then for KM/SR or KM/SD what do you guys think is better a brute or a scrapper? (I want him to be my main so money is no object for the build...)
