I would like NC to buy the rights to use Fisto! as a weapon set.
-
I would also like to nominate Bolty, who I just thought of, for some reason.

Defence is sometimes better, I just hit elude and go back to pictures of lolcats. Mind, one in 20 threads still hits me. Like this one.
Here, this might help. -
CA's costume is inspired, works really well.
Galaxy guardian's is great, too, but his pose and the look on his face.... I think he might be desperately trying not to break wind.
Incidentally, I just spent ten minutes logging in all my favourite characters, screenshotting them, and pasting into paint. But paint crashed when I loaded up my US account, which is rubbish.
They're not very good in comparison to most of this thread, anywho. -

Looks like it. It was teased out of the mac beta.
If it's pay-for content, it may just be the first one I've been tempted to go for. -

that pictures just lame, even the dominator is emote'ing, MM is just flying with his back to the screen

Some might (albeit cynically) suggest that it's fairly representative of the effectiveness of said characters in-game. -
Hurrm. I just got patroller and the wentworth one on login. So I'm not certain that's right.
-
Yes. But not with you. Can I pick someone weaker than me?
-
Brilliant! I needed a grin this morning, thankyou for cheering me up. Classic.

Ahh, forgot Empath.
Extremus, Xanthus, Archy, Night and Mez... well, not sure if 'legend' is the right term. Part of the furniture, more like. The part that bites back. -
[ QUOTE ]
Someone had to raise the topic!
[/ QUOTE ]
No, but you did anyway. We'll find out tomorrow; not such a stretch to wait and see, is it? -
Most that I consider legends have been with us from the start. Many still play, many don't. To all, I raise a toast.
To those who began; to those that finished. To those that fell in battle, and those that hung their capes. To those that frequent PI, and those that frequent Icon. I salute you all.

Beatbox Hero. It could include such classics as 'BB Spaz', 'BB Yellow', and 'BB Wah'. It'd be on the Wii so you had to wave the controllers in a manner reminiscent of actual CoH dances. As your level increases, you have to think up more excuses to not start a mission and continue dancing.

Energy can be useful for knocking your anchor about, but I find Dark (for Tenebrous Tentacles, Dark Pit and even more -acc) or Rad (to cover a major debuffing hole in Dark's set) more useful. Psychic might be pretty powerful, too, what with the slowing and pleasantly-ranged cone.
-
If FF makes you yawn, Sonic's likely to be close behind - it's a little more action-orientated, but not by much.
Cold's pretty funky, varied and quite fast-paced.
Dark? Dark's ace, action all the time, very powerful, massively versatile and pretty solo-able.
TA's pretty dull, it can be useful used and slotted right, but it's faintly pathetic when soloing.
Therm's kind of a mix between empathy and sonic... doesn't sound like that's going to be the one for you.
I agree with you on Rad, by the way - powerful it may be, but putting those two toggles up repeatedly gets very old, very quick. -
Coin's been around since God was born, roughly, and has always contributed. Good man.
Jane Russell turns to Marilyn Monroe and asks "Why is Charles sitting in that lake talking to a duck?" Marilyn replies "Oh, don't mind him. Gentlemen prefer ponds." -
Duncan's not afraid to resurrect a three-year-old thread - I respect that.
From The Guardian.
Disregarding the metaphysical aspects of Schrodinger's cats, (Letters, April 28) I must protest at the use of (possibly live) animals for experiments such as these. I urge readers to boycott whatever product this research is leading to.

Yup, channel name is just 'Defiant Events'. You'll know you've got the right one as there's a fair few on it. I've had loads of decent teams and recruited some great folks for random TF's; great channel. In fact, gonna log in and see if anything's up. Maybe fling an ITF out there. Grand.

The 2 billion cap is for inventory inf, however it's gained. The badges are only for inf that's earned in combat.
So, you could have 0.9 billion earned inf and 1.1 billion in traded inf in your inventory. At that point, you have hit the inf cap without earning the final badge. -
[ QUOTE ]
A hard cap is one specifically enforced by the game system, such as the maximum damage resistances.
A soft cap is one enforced by mathematics, I think. e.g There's no point in having more than X To Hit bonus, because there's always a 5% miss chance, and more To Hit doesn't matter.
Think that's basically correct.
[/ QUOTE ]
Spot on. So, for ToHit bonus, no matter how high you can push it, you will always miss 5% of the time, meaning it's often pointless to push it above the soft cap (hitting 95% of the time) unless you expect to be debuffed at some point. -
Nice one. As you say, the character creator is one of the greatest assets of the game, even four years on there's little to match its scope. Let's hope the mission architect can be another shiny string in the customisation bow.

well.. ignoring more will decrease you re chances of getting a team.

But increase the chances of getting on a team you want to be on. It's a win-win situation.
