Hello. I am working on a shield/elec tank for i19 and have just reached 27 (I had some net issues last 2 weeks ) and so I am starting to plan my sets. I have really only been mucking around with mm's for the last 4 years so I don't have much experience with this sought of thing and I would be very interested in what other people can come up with.
I am using 2 builds, 1 solo the other team so assume this build is for teaming only. I am taking every shield power plus thunder strike, chain induction and lightning rod. I will take cj + hurdle for getting around in mish (and extra defense). I have access to 415mil right now I could probably get that up to 500mil if needed. I would like to softcap defense and reduce end as much as possible. Thanks in advance for any assistance given. -
At christmas I like to farm presents in sirens and I hate when I get ganked and I have said in the past "I'm just here for presents leave me alone " but I knew it wouldn't get me anywhere and I didn't whine and threaten ppl about it because I knew it was a pvp zone. Maybe I'll kick up more of a fuss next time.

Every MM is technically a Tank. People use Tankermind as a definition of a specific build where the player tries to keep the heat off their pets and rely on bg mode.

I like the villain side lowbie content. It has some interesting missions like the 4 ally Arachnos one and you don't have to zone at all until 7 or 8 if you don't want to (although I usually go to PO at 5). They even moved the zombie mission closer to the base.

I solo the Ghost of Scrapyard daily on liberty, and can hold aggro off not just my pets, by just about any non tanker/brute that joins in. -
I've said it before it is impossible for a mm to hold aggro 100% of the time when 6 pets are blasting the foes. You have to use a combination of taunt, attacks and buffs/debuffs to survive without regen.

Maybe this has something to do with the 33% speed increase.

Why is it strange for the tank to want the team to stay together? So what if you don't get full fury it's not meant to be a perma buff.

Form a badge team like we are supposed to do in order to get badges in a convenient timeframe.
It is more difficult because you have to find someone with the mission that has the badge you want and who is willing to reset their mission over and over again. Also super sidekicking makes it more "fun". -
Set them to attack/defensive then after they finish they immediately switch back to bg mode.

My friend told me all about coh when he saw his friend playing it in England and it sounded pretty good to me but I didn't look for it but then in late 2005 I saw the cov box in the store and grabbed it. So I started red side and when I got around to going blue side in 07 I didn't like it.
