A big tip to all coh players. Their devs seem to think that if we want to play superhero games then we want to see everything look like it's in a comic. Go to options, graphics, advanced graphics and turn off outlines.

Well, I installed it to try it out again.
The first thing it wanted me to do was lower my security, so I did the requirement. Then it still would not start. The furthest I got into it was the yes or no option to link any existing account. On clicking no the game got no further.
Wow - even the set up is coq'd.
Can't say I didn't try but my initial instinct was correct - I neither trust it nor particularly want it given my past experience. What a shambles. -

I started in CoV and played lots of brutes and stalkers. I looked at Scrappers but they didn't have anything close to Super Strength so I didn't take to them. Then they brought out Street Justice. My StJ/Will Scrapper called Wrong. (as in the wrong guy to mess with) became my favourite toon for a few months. I took him through the Trials, the new DA content and SSA1. I'm gald I got to experience the nonstop, madcap action of high level Scrapperage before the end.

My friend told of this game that he saw his brother playing when he was over in London in 04 where you can 'be a superhero and run around the streets and team up and stuff'. It didn't interest me at all. Then in 2005 I saw 'City of Villains' in the shop and I thought to myself 'What you can be a Villain!? Now you're talking'

I'm so glad a friend of mine convinced me to take screenshots just after I started my account.
I also have shots of some of my favourite toons just at the moment they hit 50. I hold down the middle mouse button to move the camera around, the command for the ui is '/screenshotui 1', and you can recenter the camera behind the head with 'b' twice. -
I will happily join, subscribe, play anything you make that I can (being on the wrong side of the planet). Keep us posted.
