Yes, new animation for broadsword for sure!
-
yeah, if they would allow the sash to be worn with jackets, it would be a much more useful piece.

Those Chinese outfits..WANT!!! I'm happy that everyone gets access to the armor, I would LOVE to see a unisex coat based on the magic bolero tech, seriously.
I'm not as over the moon for the clubwear, but that dress might have some mix and match use. -
I was kinda hoping for Carnival of Light myself.

I've been on a pile of ITF runs this week, leveling up my TW scrapper. All of these have been for shards/xp, but I have seen others running speed ITFs as well. I just haven't bothered joining those. I'm on Virtue, BTW.

The brownish pre-tinting of the skin texture has always bugged the snot out of me too. I make almost exclusively non human characters, and most of them have greyish skin. It looks incredibly silly to have grey skin with brown pre-tinting, likewise the other even more exotic shades. Needless to say, I use tights for any exposed skin south of the neck where possible, matching as close as I can, which isn't perfect. On my non-human characters, I can't use the "with skin" costume options much, because the brown pre-tinting is even more glaringly obvious on the rest of the body. And since we have some cool "with skin" options (such as barbarian women's top and bottom), that's kind of frustrating.
Please, please PLEASE ditch the brown pre-tinting on skin textures! -
I find the mention of staff fighting to be encouraging- lots of weapon skins. I wonder if any of them will have blades, or cool glowy parts? A vanguard Naganata or yari would be pretty freaking sweet.

Well, by the OP's logic, I shouldn't win anything in a CC. Why? Because I'm just not interested in making costumes that revolve around spandex tights. I see nice looking tights on other people, but I tend to prefer robes and armor. I guess I'm fairy tale loving scum, then.

It didn't make me watch an ad at all
But it was pretty freaking cool, especially some of the acrobatic moves, including one where the character appears to be rolling on the ground at one point, like some of the more flashy wushu moves. I like this, can't wait to play with it! -
We SO need a Throw Egg emote for Halloween. Essentially a recoloring of the snowball emote, perhaps with a splatter effect when it hits something.
In regards to First Nations costume pieces, I've heard lots of people in-game saying they want them. However, they would have to be based VERY closely on real First Nations dress, as opposed to the cartoon stereotypes. We could definitely use a few actual loincloths, (breechclout and aztec/mesoamerican style) And some of the weapons used by various First Nations people would work well in our existing powersets. The infamous Aztec obsidian edged club could be used in several weapon sets- broadsword, battle axe, war mace, possibly even Katana. -
I'm hoping for a glowing staff of one sort or another- vanguard, celestial, elemental, whatever.
And polearms would rock! I want a pudao (which would look sick in vanguard form). -
I ran a couple of failed TPN trials last night. I didn't find those as frustrating as failed UG runs. Perhaps it's a sense that the WW and Avatar in UG are just pure cheese, and this trial didn't feel like that. I also remember how many BAFs and Lambdas ended in failure when they first came out, and what ROFLstomps they tend to be now, that everyone has figured out the tactics. I suspect that with a little rebalancing and tweaking, TPN could be the same, once people get some practice.

Oh dear, I'll be buying a few of those!
Why yes, I do have several /regen scrappers, why do you ask? -
I bought two complete LoTG sets for one of my alts, and before this weekend's out, I may pick up more for a couple of characters of mine who use WP as a secondary. I also grabbed one each of windfall and XP gain, those are useful when trying to level up another character.
I wish Numina would go on sale, I've got lots of alts who would be all over that! -
I am LOVING that elemental order costume set! When I heard elemental order and saw the belt, I thought it might be a martial arts/shaolin monk type of thing. But that is hella cool, and it seems to be the same look for both genders, which is good. Finally females get a cool long jacket! And I am not as sure how much of the fire/ice set I'll use but it sure looks interesting, something I would not mind having to play with.

One Liberty was me, lol! No thanks to whoever it was who quit the first time he died, then was heard in SG chat asking if anyone wanted to PVP
-
I'm in the RWZ now, ready to go. I don't see anyone else though
-
I know I'll be buying some of the Numina and LOTG sets for an alt of mine, who is almost 50 ATM. It should save him some trouble when it comes to grinding astral merits
And with the low prices on consumables, I might grab a few. If the price change becomes permanent, even better. -
Apparently Titan weapons does smashing, and that's getting a vanguard version. But seriously, I would love to see some sort of staff with glowing effects, even if it's not vanguard.
-
Nice to see staff fighting formally announced, did they say it would be part of I-22?
I wonder what custom weapon variations we'll see- will they have a vanguard or other glowing option? I hope so -
I left you a comment over on DA about your Cole Tower sketch. That thing is awesome, I would have fun personifying that! I've done it to lots of NYC skyscrapers, why not this one?
-
Tonight I got a tell from somebody telling me how epic one of my alts looked. That alt was wearing the samurai chestplate paired with the Circle of thorns skirt (great combo!), and wearing the ascension radiance boots, gloves, and headpiece, and plain ascension decor shoulders. I love these new pieces and all the mix-and-match we can do!
-
I honestly have no idea why they did this, it's not like people needed help navigating around the costume creator, or needed to have their hands held to figure out the different categories.
-
This is certainly a minor gripe compared to the furor over the withheld CoT costume parts, or the emp merit costs for unlocking the new incarnate powers. But it's kind of a nuisance anyhow.
Why for the love of all heaven did they make things so that when you create a new character, it starts out with some random mishmashed costume instead of the default tights?
Before I can get to work making my character, I have to go and take all this mismatched crap off first.
Was this really necessary? What was wrong with starting out with the plain tights (blank canvas)? I think this is a classic case of "If it 'aint broke, don't fix it!"
Anyone else find this change annoying or at least uncalled for?
