Hmmm...someone just said Ultra needs a nVidia 9800 or higher?
...I just built this rig, I thought it might be finalised for the next few years D= -
Quote:^ I like all of them. Execpt the Arachnos one. I kinda like them (NOT when on a pre-20 Brute vs Mu, howeverThis. My meleers don't mind them much, but Rikti are one of the most annoying factions to fight on a squishy. Stuns on everything, knockback pinball, chain sleeps and holds, and then a Chief Soldier two-shots you.
Changes I'd make:- Council: Break them down into about three sub-groups. The core Council makes a good Cobra-esque group, but fighting werewolf-vampire-robot-space alien-supersoldiers just makes me want to slap the Center and go 'MAKE UP YOUR FREAKING MIND.'
- Rogue Robots: Would be a faction in their own right. Come on, what's a superhero game without a group of evil robots (Clockwork don't count)?
- Coralax, Gold Brickers, Shivans, Tsoo, Banished Pantheon, Legacy Chain, Wyvern, Skulls, Hellions: Would all have their level ranges expanded for more arcs + background information.
- Banished Pantheon, the Family, and the Tsoo: Deserve some AVs outside of Viridian's arc!
- Arachnos: Would not exist. Seriously. I realize this cannot happen, but I still hate Arachnos on multiple levels.
- Longbow: Would both have more variety and be less endemic v-side.
- Crey: Would keep its cool 'corporate agents in black suits and sunglasses' look instead of ditching it for 'power armor for EVERYBODY' at the higher levels.
god-damn end drain!)

Quote:I don't anticipate it being a concern, namely 'cos the Devs have, effectively, said "We'll merge the servers when Jack has a good idea."Yes you guessed it SG membership and as a result bases don't transfer. There isn't really any easy was to manage this as you can only have members on the same server. I suppose it could be transferred when the last member transfers but I don't anticipate this being a particularly high priority.
Not an actual quote. But a pretty close aproximation to 'It won't happen'

I want to play as an Assault Bot. Or, better yet, an HVAS.
That is all. -
Meh. Lvl 50 Bots/Traps here, never had any problems with PuGs. If they can't keep up with me, thats someone elses problem
-
Not going to happen. DP has a power that switches ammo type. AR doesnt.
Also, cottage rule and, possibly, standard code rant. -
Tried methods;
More blues. Combine them when I can, use them when they drop.
Slot for acc/end red and end red in general.
On the DB/WP Brute, for one, I was doing that and still out of endurance every. Single. Fight. Worse when fighting Arachnos, as thats when Mu Strikers start popping up. -

Great stuff, all of them
I may need new ribs, though...

Hehe..great stuff. Keep it coming

Quote:No thanks, I choose life.Rikti. For transdimensional alien invaders, they don't pack much of a punch, particularly compared to other 40-50 groups like Malta, Vanguard Sword and Nemesis. They carry few buffs, no debuffs, no ToHitBuffs, no troublesome powers that turn the tide of a fight (Vengeance, Sapper guns) and all that makes them a threat is that they're very mez heavy.
I'd keep the current Rikti faction the same for levels 30-40; at this point you are going up against the frontline troops that are a threat to human militaries but not too dangerous to powerful supers. From 40-50 you should face elite troops intended to specifically fight super-powered beings. The Rikti would deploy powersuited troops exclusively (Chief Soldiers, all the Mentalists, Headmen Gunmen) and boss versions of Rikti Magi, Rikti Priests and Heavy Assault Suits. Heavy Assault Suits should get a swarm missile attack and AI that keeps them at range where they can use their superior firepower. Rikti Priests should get some Empathy buffs instead of being another Dominate/Mental Blast spammer and I'd like to see some unit types that were only hinted at be fleshed-out and implemented as minions (e.g. Psi-Scouts). No, this will never happen and if it did the whining would be deafening but it's fun to think about.
Seriously, I like the Rikti. But have you never fought them on anything without mez protection? Or armour?
The kick like a frenzied mule on speed. You go up against a Chief Soldier one on one, and you'd better have some band-aids ready, cos those cleavers they carry hurt. And every single one of them pack stuns and KB.
Rikti Magi are, really, quite hax. They show up (I think) once outside of ship raids, and thats as Boss level mobs in the RWZ arc for Serpent Drummer where you save the PTS.
Flesh them out a bit more, by all means. The same could be said for any group. But they already have more than enough Pain potential. -
Quote:...I run all my characters as teams competing with each other in a tournament... Spreadsheets for everything and everyone, a vastly complicated scoring system (for both power and reputation and the newly created teamwork)... currently over 100 spreadsheets and that's no exageration...
However, because Going Rogue has next to no information released about how it could affect the delicate scoring system of my tournament... I was at a loss.. I didn't feel like playing all 72 of my in-tournament characters because I felt pretty sure I would be revamping everything once GR got released...
So...
I deleted them. Every last one of them. And reduced them to only one Team Captain per server (I don't play on Pinnacle so that's 10 characters)... Starting said Captains over again at 1st level.. So that when GR gets released I have a lot less work to do updating spreadsheets and getting my tournament up-to-date for the new system...
This isn't a joke post... I only wish it were...
I see your wierd and raise you an obsessed...
I...
...Yeah.
...
On a jokey note;

Quote:It can run Dawn of War 2 on full graphics without even breaking a sweat. DoW2 is purdy damn graphics heavy, so I'm not too worried.I seem to recall Posi's post where he laid down some tentative guidelines for what level of detail you'd get and 9800's are about the lowest of the range with the 260's and 285's being top of the range. That wasn't final, however.

Either way, it was better than being stuck on a laptop that ran only on minimum >_> -

I'm not saying 'low level'. It is specifically level 14-20. And, as I said, I tried endurance management. It is, frankly, impossible at that level. The limited number of slots and the maximum being DO level enhancements means that, with pretty much the exception of /regen and certain support ATs, endurance fail is guarenteed. Which seems fairly broken to me.
I'm also not saying 'make it a non-issue'. I'm calling for it to be balanced. Stamina being a near necessity as it is has never sat well with me, but I can live with that. Being crippled in the run-up to it is a step too far, though. -
Endurance. Thats all its really a matter of.
I shall explain. At low levels, endurance isnt really much of an issue. You dont have that many attacks, clickies or toggles, and even then they are the lower level 'cheap' moves. Recharge and low end coast means that you can pretty much blast/scrap/mez away to your hearts content.
Once we get to about level 14, however, things get ugly. By now we're moving onto bigger attacks and having more toggles up and running. Endurance becomes more of an issue. More-so for some ATs and sets, but an issue nonetheless, when it's very easy to run out of endurance every fight.
Now, I would guess that most people by now are thinking something along the lines of "Well, slot better then!" Ok. How? I'll use the example of the DB/WP Brute I just got to 20, and at last managed to pick up Quick Recovery. Its still not slotted, being only just 20, but even that makes a HUGE difference. And, yes, she is green DO slotted for acc/end red and res/end red. There is no possible way to squeeze any more endurance use out of the build at that point.
The only character I've not run into this problem on is a /regen Scrapper. Why? Because they get QR, the superior version of Stamina, at level 4.
So, however it's done, I suggest a look at and, hopefully, a fix for the pre-20 endurance levels. Because I, for one, do not find running out of endurance every fight anywhere near approaching Fun. -
lvl 4, actually.
And yeah, pre level 20 endurance sucks large round objects.
Wouldn't say no to regen on Brutes, but not gonna bust a gasket over it either. -

Ahh, the d00m starts...
*readies flamethrower, lawn chair and popcorn* -
Her arms are a tad too thick, but, other than what Steele said...wow! Nicely done XD
Those undies are...uhm....yeah >_> -
Quote:There's still some major discrepencies between sides. MM sets arent the only ones.Yup. Seen the prices on Basilisk's Gaze. I just get the recipes using tickets for both sides. Saves money, and usually makes you some with other recipes gotten this way.
Pet Recipes is the exception not the rule.
Look at the melee sets, range damage sets...ect...ect... -
Hmm, the forum occasionally used to drop me, but it seems to remember me just fine, now.

Do you guys all draw in your free time, outta interest? Or do you have *lots* of free time?
