New Badge For Walking

I was very bored today so I decided to walk from Miss Liberty in Atlas Park to Castle in Peregrine Island. Took only side walks and used only cross walks lol... Took me about 1h 32mins and 28 seconds no trains or portals... just walking atlas to sky to talos to PI. On this long walk, I got thinking.... We need a new badge for this amusing new power. Now, before you all start in, Yes I am aware I have no life and just about any other thing you could possibly toss my way XD lol... So, here it is....

Marathon Walker:
Description: Some people have it in them, some dont. You have showed that you have the patience and endurance to walk long distances in Paragon City(The Rogue Isles).

Alternate names like "Walkman" or "Walkwoman" would be amusing as well lol.... I figure it could be easy to add it. The game uses a coordinate system, I was thinking maybe when the power is activated code could track the location and update every second and calculate the distance traveled by the player. Maybe the badge could be attained after about 5 miles? thats the idea.... now..... CONVERSE!

*Presses F*

Insta badge :O

Wouldn't be the first insta-badge.

I don't object to a badge for walking long enough. It's no sillier than "spend 5 hours in a PVP zone" or things like that.

A badge for walking around? Sounds pretty neat, it would get more people walking around the game, if only for the pure gain of badging. And who cares if it's an insta-badge by auto-following an NPC around for hours, shouldn't that only be game-breaking if it's part of an accolade with benefits?

I say the badge should exist, I always enjoy a game with silliness strewn about, it makes things much more enjoyable that way.

Years ago people suggested badges for time using various travel powers. Of course that would have required you to have certain specific powers so naturally many people balked at that. But because everyone has access to Walk I have no particular problem with the idea one way or the other.

Let's just say if such badges were added to the game my badgers would get them regardless.

I am for this, as long as it requires ALOT of walking. More than 5 miles. I want to see it be an OMG, I don't know if I can get this badge, type of badge.

I should specify, my post wasn't intended as a reason against this idea. I was just pointing it out.

I agree, ALOT of walking would be fun... I was just trying to be nice saying 5 miles >_> lol... I didnt expect my idea to be so well recieved so I didnt want any "OMG THATS TOO MUCH!" along with it XD lol...
