Bots/Traps has been a popular AV soloer for quite some time. I'd suggest heading to the MM boards and start hunting for some discussion on that combination. I think there are even some screenshots and posts on some AV kills.
However, I don't think I'd be too interested in taking a bots/traps MM on an ITF, especially on a PuG. I just don't have that kind of patience to deal with a PuG on one of those.

Meh. Lvl 50 Bots/Traps here, never had any problems with PuGs. If they can't keep up with me, thats someone elses problem

Ever since I could tell the game to pretend I was a full team, my Bots/Traps has stopped worrying about joining others. She just runs through missions set for 8 without breaking a sweat.
If there was ever a downside to Bots/Traps it would be boredom.
I'll stray from the path a bit and advertise my Bots/DM. Just as fun imo, plus you get an extra H34lzor pet.
We just made a traps/AR def 'superteam' and it's been crazy fun. We were unslotted and still pwning at +2/x8 and def capped with FFGs.
Was light in damage but so much fun to just aggro as many mobs as possible and stand in the center of our little team and engage in a huge firefight.
Some of the little ones were dying now and then but getting level rezzed so fast no one minded at all.
If you are looking to solo AVs though, MM bots/traps is probably the best pick out of all the traps ATs.
Been wanting to make a Traps toon. Something to do the ITF for something different, and maybe the ability to solo an even level AV for grins.
So, between defenders, corruptors and mm's, which is more viable. I'm assuming all are, but what i'am looking for is the pro's and con's to each.
Figured I'd probably choose between traps/sonic def, fire/ or sonic/traps corr, and not sure at all on the best combo's for the mm's (and also how much more of a pain the mm would be on the ITF).
