  1. After quite an extensive play through with my DB/Energy brute I can recommend Body Mastery, Soul Mastery, and of course Fire and Mu for some extra AoE. I use Body Mastery on mine, I used it for extra regen (every bit helps) and for the Numina's 4th slot bonus, +heal, which helps the pitiful 4ish% heal of Energy Drain (remember, its % base heal, not a strait % HP heal).
  2. Well, the magic number is 43% with Hide toggled off. So looking at your build, You can loose a good deal of defense and still be above 45%. Go for it.
  3. I do believe it is against the ULA to post derogatory things about people using their in game names or global names. I could be wrong, but I recall that being mentioned at one time.
  4. I just do the AH proc in it. Don't use it often, usually just on AVs.

    Is this better?

I'm just not sure you would be able to make a 'zomg 733t pharmer' out of Kin/SD. You might be fair, and prolly hard to kill, but Kin Melee is more of a Single Target set than an AoE. You would be leaning heavily on Shield Charge and your APP AoE. Which even with some good recharge, SC will be recharging in around 30ish seconds, which will limit you in speed. You will have to spend a lot of influence to be able to achieve the speed of a fire/kin on SOs. :/ To me, it seems a waste, but its your money I guess.

If I was going to try to farm on a KM/SD, this is what it would prolly look like...

  6. Don't grab Maneuvers to help your team. It just isn't going to be that much help. Grab it for yourself instead. If you only need 3ish% defense more to hit the soft cap, adding 3% defense to the team is just gravy.
  7. Fire/Kin Controller :P just to stoke the flames.
  8. Code:
    Ragnarok
    (Ball Lightning)
    • 4% (0.067 End/sec) Recovery
    • 2.52% Resistance(Fire,Cold)
    • 15% Enhancement(Accuracy)
    • 10% Enhancement(RechargeTime) (Exceeded 5 Bonus Cap)
    Go for it, Champ.
  9. There are 2 hunts iirc, one in bricks, and second to last mission is in Creys. Doing one now, can confirm in a bit.

Yup, first hunt is kill Crey in Bricks. Second to last mission is a hunt in Creys.

    Is this better?

Let me answer your question with a question. What is your reasoning for wanting to make a Kin/SD farming scrapper? And what will you most likely be farming? Fire/Kins are FotYear for a reason, easy to get started farming even on SOs and fast (Yay unsuppressed super speed through Siphon Speed, the real reason I personally like Fire/Kin)

Let's start a dialog. The more I know about what you want/need the better I can help.

(and no reason to start a new thread, just quick reply on this thread)
  11. Or, you can just not use Granite but for rare occasions.

My newest project is a Stone/Elec/Soul tank. Good AoE with Elec Melee, and Gloom is a great single target attack. Soft capped easily to S/L/E/N/P, you have good regen with rooted, perma Dull Pain, and Granite to fall back on if you get into trouble. I would never want to live in that pile of poo. The -Dam and -Rech are too much of a deterant for me (a scrapper player).
  12. _Pine_

    Take 2

    1). What?
2). Mids is showing 2 combat jumpings and 2 super jumps. And a legacy build. Can you try exporting again? And provide a data chunk in case the data link is bad.
  13. I still suspect it was an intern that spilled a cup of coffee on the server.

Both my classes for the day were canceled, so I was looking at spending some quality time with my new stalker, but instead I've gotten ahead on homework and beaten 4 Civilizations in Civilization V :/
  14. Only graphic is a little symbol that flashes every couple seconds around you, and a swirly non-noticeable thing around your body. It's not graphically busy or noticeable as a whole.
  15. Well, servers are going down again. Perhaps they are rolling back the roll back -_-
  16. Would need 300ish recharge in SB. Doable, but for a gain of around 1%ish extra damage.
  17. >.> WP and SD are still pretty new imo.
  18. Looks Fine and expensive.

Call of the Sandman is interesting. Let me know how it works out for you. In an AoE it might actually be moderately reliable.

Taunt is under slotted as well as Against All Odds. Any scrapper with a taunt aura (besides WP) is going to pull aggro off you very easily. At least put a taunt IO in AAO.

Are you REALLY going to miss the 2 seconds that the 4th Recharge IO grants in Hasten? If not, that free's up a slot you can put in AAO or Taunt.

You could gain an extra 50ish HP by slotting a LotG instead of the Hamio. Could slot a Kismet +ToHit in Grant Cover, just an idea.

The Regen Tissue proc in health would be helpful as well.

(if you do the LotG instead of hamios, and pop the Numina's proc instead of the Heal/rech in True Grit, you can add the Regen proc in health. Keeping the sameish HP and increasing your regen quite a bit)

Why not put the Steadfast Prot +def proc in OwtS and that will free up your slot to add some more res into Tough.

I would personally do 3 or 4 slot of Perf Shifters in Stamina. 6 slots is a little much. Yes I know you get 5% recharge... But at the cost of 6 slots in a power that only needs 3-4 to do well.

Just some pointers to think about.
  19. Active Defense does not accept defense Enhancements, which makes using a Hamio that enhances Defense and recharge or end red very helpful. The game reacts to defense debuff enhancements and defense buff enhancements the same. It's the power that descides to use it as negative or positive defense. This is ANOTHER reason Hamios are useful. Defense buff enhancements are 20%, Defense debuff enhancements are 33%.
  20. (note, Active Defense needs to be double stacked to hit the DDR cap)
  21. Just looked at the build.

If you think Stone tanks take forever to kill anything, just try killing things with attacks so sparsely slotted. Not sure you could even over come a Minion's regen with that amount of damage.
  22. I moderately dislike click mez powers.

This is why I have an Invuln Scrapper and an EA brute. It seems that positional defense sets get clickies, all others get toggles.
