  1. And as has been said multiple times before, by Devs;
    It can't be done. Period.
    SCR for good measure.

    Tanks a lot!

    Do really really /want.
It always bugs me how the tank patrols in RWZ rumble blithely along the road, ignoring mass mobs and battles at all times. And never getting scrapped either. Yes, movement and scripting could be a bugger...but cool much?
  3. In all seriousness;
Statesman_NA got unbanned? Does that mean someone said Jacks name three times? Alright, fess up!
  4. -Fedexes.
    -Tailor missions.
    - Hunt missions, bar 'Kill 10' in the same zone, a la Hollows. That I can deal with.

-Really, really obnoxious missions like 'Escort General Grandad and Rikti 'Not an EB' around the map until they die' in RWZ (Resuce the General and the Diplomat from Serpent Drummer. They ALWAYS die, because you cant get them off the map...)

Does anyone still play the game to, ya know, play the game any more?
    Yup.

As for 'the game is stingy', really, cry me a river. I didn't get a really decent drop until very recently, which means around three years of play time with mediocre drops.
Then I happened to get two purples in one missiong. On a level 8 who was being SK'd.

    It's called chance, and she's a fickle little b****.

    Unlock the LRSF

I would support this over unlocking the LRSF.
    Myeah, that'd work too.

Although I would probbly make a lot of money betting on their being storms of outrage if that happened

Since you would literally be wearing your origin on your shoulder (or arm, etc with the shoulder unit), the more options you have, the greater the appeal to characters of all origins.
I dislike weapon unlocks when the unlocks are a chore to get (I'm looking at YOU, redside Nemesis rifle! ¬¬ ) Stuff like the Council weapons which you pretty much unlock by accident are much better.

    Suggestions for types of Weapon models (All colour tintable);

Tech Weapons - Polished, high tech
Mercenary Weapons - dented, repaired, heavily used
PPD - Inspired by the weapons used on PPD Hardsuits
Arcane - Stylised and ornate, powered by chunks of crystal
    Steampunk - Nuff said, really.
Scavenger - Exposed cabling, missing plating, the odd twisted barrel. Slightly scrappy
  8. It'd be nice. Like the official belt, only without the nightstick and with another holster.
In the works? Mebbe. We have no way of knowing.
  9. To clear up the energy/fire arguement; whatever is balanced. I'd say energy being 80% with fire being 20%...maybe? To simulate the fact that, hey, you just got shot by a laser! Thats gonna really STING.
Although stuff like the PPD armour lasers (sort of what the set was modeled on, after I re-worked it from the suggestion made to the suggestion. Uhm....) dont do fire damage, nor do other sets in game atm, so...maybe just 100% energy. *shrug*

In response to Solicios customisation query, I would say make an arm and *maybe* a shoulder unit, one that works in a similar way to the Vanguard Shield projector, in that it is both a passive (idle stance) piece and an active one (combat stance and when the power is used). So, have standard techy guns; slightly more scrappy, merc-a-like guns; arcane, gem powered constructions; steampunk gatling/laser/flamer-things of doom and punkiness....etc

Really, if I ever got the chance to design a set, I'd want it to be usable by any origin, for as many cool concepts as people could think up.
  10. /Unsigned. And basically what Stever said

    Unlock the LRSF

With the difference being that Hess and Katie are mid-range TFs, ones which aren't even Phalanx TFs.

LRSF is THE big finisher of the game...and it requires you to kowtow and work through a long and in some cases (Im looking at YOU, Captain Fishface!) ardous arc.

It probably wouldn't have come up, but I was trying to throw together a fairly late LRSF run with as many VEATs as we could lay hands on, and SG/Channel friends. It hastily fell apart when we realised we needed the arc badge.

And yes, Devs do hate Villains. But LRSF is a Villain himself! So that means I can DOUBLE HATE him! Grr!

/tongue in cheek at end, for those who are slow

    Unlock the LRSF

    It's that simple, really.

"Yay, you have to be a pawn of Arachnos and work through one of these long arcs to even open the last SF of the game!"

Uhm...sorry, but what? How about t'hell with you? The STF is not locked out...why on earth is the LRSF? Not worthy, huh; how about surviving to level 45 in the scummy Rogue Isles, thats quite a feat in and of itself, thanks.

Was really not amused by that...

While I do agree the insta lvl 50s was sick there is so much more they should have done in this game than the AE. Its pointless to keep nerfing it at this point. Its never going to be as popular as it was when it first came out and all the servers had at least 2 dots.
Never say 'It could never be worse' on the internet...

Not to mention some of the graphics nearly obscures or blurrs the colour, and you have to try and remember the order.
Tech and natural are the only two I've never had trouble with, partially because the names for naturals are also fairly clear. Science, though, is a nightmare.

  16. Oh so /Signed. I hate the limits on hats and hair. And having a hat with NO hair would be great. My stalker is meant to wear a full gas mask and an officers cap, but he has to have the damn hair on atm, which looks silly...*Sigh*

Thats because everywhere we go, the news, the media, the TV itself (I dont watch the doombox for a reason, y'know), even most public places...we get this storm of reminders of how inferior we have become.

Sorry, I am a tad bitter. People tend to become when its things they have no real power over. *shrug*

Yeah, that'd be the markets even more Fu-bar than they already are, a bunch of level 50s not knowing how to play, and people put off from even touching the game because 'all people do there is farm'.

What they are fixing here is exploits. Farming, as a whole is kind of hard to stamp out, and I would say its not something that should really be wiped out. Some people do validly enjoy it, and I, and the Devs too it seems, dont mind that so much. Its when something is exploitable, such as 1-50 in a few hours, that they have to take action, and have been doing so.

The sooner that people understand that, the better.
Still, this thread doesnt dissapoint, it seems.

    ^ This, frankly.

I...think a CoH2, with the same kind of Dev team, would be awesome. But Im not giving anything past that, because at the moment its the hint of a dream, and possibly just a trademark placeholder.

Im guessing it was due to being very easy to slaughter certain mobs (Freakshow) before they had even got up from Resurection, since it wasnt interuptible.

Until a red name confirms/de-confirms that. *shrug*
Yes, I hate that mission and its attrocious lag too. No, theres nothing we can do about it. No, its not a game exploit, it's a bug. Yes, its a very annoying bug. Yes, there are multiple bugs still around. And yes, the Devs have to follow a timetable and structure, usually laid out by the Bosses, not them.

So, really, thats all there is to it.

    4. and 6. more than get my signed. There should be like what there is in AE for DO and SO buying, a drop down menu for 'damage', 'accuracy' etc. Would make it so much easier.

And the majority of blueside contacts are hella stingy with their numbers, which really does need fixing at some point.
