Nope, the in-game store requires a credit card.
You can, however, get a paypal credit/debit card that draws against your paypal account, IIRC. -
If you have your "posts per page" set to 500, all exceedingly-long threads will error. Set to 100 posts per page until they fix it. If they fix it.

Did you at one point try to view those threads Hybrid or Threaded mode? They're long, I know the boards can't handle long threads in hybrid/threaded mode (for some weird reason, since it's technically less work???).

Don't bother checking contacts that are in your inactive list.
Call or visit every single contact that is in your active list. They either have stuff for you to do, or someone to introduce you to.
You didn't say you did this the last time I suggested it, so I'm suggesting it again. There are a few no-origin contacts in the game now that don't have origin restrictions on who they will introduce. -
Have you talked to every single one of the old contacts still listed in your Active Contacts list? All the outleveled contacts in your Active List have something for you to do/someone for you to see.

Avast is definitely not worse for your computer than having no antivirus at all.
Alternatively, Avira AntiVir is also nice, I use the free version. It has popup nags but it's possible to get around them (google works wonders). -

Is the "Skin Color" bar green (highlighted) or is the second bar green? The top bar needs to be green.
Skin color only has seven rows of colors, whereas the main color selection has sixteen rows of colors. Make sure you're viewing the SKIN colors and not the main colors.
