If there is a story arc as part of the contact's mission, you can do the story arc through Ouroboros. You gain access to that zone when you are level 25 and are exposed to time travel.
If there is a contact whose missions you want to do and don't want to outlevel the contact, you always have to option to turn off your XP so you don't earn any until you decide to turn it back on.
Yeah there is a story arc that I outgrew. Thanks for the info. Never thought about shutting off XP.

It's a fairly new option.
You can also wait to do it on another character, but that can be a pain.

Also:
Single missions that give badges are also accessible through Ouroboros, so you don't have to worry about that, either.
Except for messing up one of Efficiency Expert Pither's missions. If you do, you lost your chance at being an Efficiency Expert forever.
So while doing some missions yesterday, I accidentally went over the level cap for one of my contacts. Is there any way to get those missions?
