  2. 1. Hey, look. It's Cryptic space. That's space where no matter where you look, it's lit up because nebulae are *everywhere*!

    2. Is that a bunny slipper?

    3. Space pirate? And clown summoning is right out because.......

    4. I see your Steampunk Space Pirate Robot/Cyborg Monkey Nazi Space Whaler and raise you a Ninja Cyborg Punk Zombie Werewolf Pirate Vampire Mad Scientist Emo Clown School Catgirl.

Just off hand putting apoc in DB, SotM in MB and the ATO set in LD gives you two medium strength damage blasts and the snipes big damage for a fairly nice attack chain. As a bonus not only will Life Drain heal you but it'll have a chance to proc the ATO pbaoe heal as well! Less stopping to pew pew for Twilight Grasp then!
Actually, that's a good idea to move Apocalypse to Dark Blast and Superior Defender's Bastion, which is currently in DB to Moonbeam which will be replacing Gloom. SDBastion has more recharge than Apocalypse.

Not go through AP?! That's crazy talk!! How do you join costume contests then??!

The closest is the Portable Workbench.

    Base is second closest.

Next is Auction House transporter to Steel Canyon > University or Cap > University or Port Oakes > Abandoned Lab or St. Martial > Abandoned Lab.

    Then there's Ouroboros > AP > RWZ or Ouroboros > Cap > University/RWZ.

Should they be more prevalent? Yeah. Don't know why Pocket D can't have one along with an AH dealer present there.

But the Devs have a long history of providing inconsistent access to amenities. I tried to get them to make the TUNNEL system a hub... but they got placed wherever the darts landed instead.
  9. You get the same level of excitement if you take the music from that video and play it to someone explaining how to boil water.
  10. And where's that Parousia we've been waiting for a really long time now? Isn't it ready??!!! Longest closed beta. Ever.

    2. Either Devices or Energy. Devices can get perma-FastSnipe and gives Sniper Rifle a small damage buff. Energy can't quite get perma-FastSnipe but it can take Tactics and alternate Build Up and Power Boost to get pretty good up-time and has Boost Range which is awesome with Assault Rifle.
    Oh, hello, City of Devices.

And some said it wouldn't happen.

  12. And even if you were to finish the arc after you outlevel them, you wouldn't get the final morality mission, because that's a new, one-mission arc... which you have outleveled.

So, lesson is to always turn off XP at 10, 15, and 20 for each of the three zones until you're done with all the contacts for the three zones.
  13. If you're gonna be able to have perma-insta-snipe, don't even bother with a Snipe Set -- there's no need to have Interruption Reduction.

So, I'm not thinking Snipe Sets are going to become the rage anytime soon.

With regard to Uniqueness, they are the same set, so, no duping even if one is Superior and the other isn't.

With regard to set bonuses, they are *not* the same set. So three regular and three Superior in one power will not be as if you six slotted the set, but only two copies of the three-slot-level bonuses (which can be a big plus if the bonus from three slotting is worth duping).
  15. It's astounding to think that it would have to DOUBLE its receipts to hit #3 of the inflation-adjusted list. And to hit #1... TRIPLE its current take.

Was it a law that everyone had to see Gone with the Wind once a year for a decade?
  16. Problem: City of Devices

While it was a brilliant idea to do two buffs at once, namely, buff Snipe Attacks that has a prerequisite which Blaster Devices can easily meat, and thus, Devices is buffed; it instead has created a problem: Devices have become the go-to secondary for any Blaster that's going to use a Snipe attack.

I'm already seeing the mentality and the builds -- since Devices can perma insta-snipe, then you only take Devices and build around that. The new Blaster min-maxer has emerged: Any-Set-with-Snipe / Devices.

Favored legacy toons may be respecked by some Blasters to access Snipes and use the tools available at level 50 to make it (nearly) perma. But all new Blasters will be some from the Devices.

I can't recall any pleasing or fun mission which also has a map with that room in it. It's the cake room of labs.
  18. Kismet is just one A-Merit, and as a proc120, level doesn't matter except for those leveling up wanting to use one as soon as possible. And only those sets with snipe and care to respec into them will use it. And they'll use just one.

    Kismet is no LotG.
  19. Updated OP with boosters, procs, call to justice, vengeance.

Will eventually get around to powers from powersets.

Do you think anyone would use these hoping they'd go off often enough to make the use of a Snipe an insta-snipe?
