Nope. You can choose either hero or villain from either of them. The only difference is flavor.
-
Tangentially related, can we please get recovery debuff resistance put into Quick Recovery? Nothing like being supposedly the epitome of healing and stamina, and yet a single Sapper can bring my blue bar from full to flat in two seconds. I don't even care if it's only a small amount of rec debuff res, as long as it's SOMETHING...pretty please?

Random is random. I got three shards yesterday in my five tips, and I got no shards in the previous three days on my five tips/five tips & morality.
Note that you only get threads in incarnate content so if you're expecting them anywhere else, "ur doin it rong". -
Yes. It imports to Mids based on your selection level.
-
If it was unresistable, it would be noted so in the CoD link given. It's not.
-
Actually, the flavor text when you open the radio in a zone you've outleveled is, "The events here seem to be beneath your notice."
Beneath my notice? I'm a hero! Let *me* choose whether it's beneath my notice. -

Quote:Easy way to find outThey do get a bonus to the way they exemp, which is one of the big draws* to purple sets.
I think.
*The planned draws anyway, I don't know how many people even know what % they will get out of each power when they exemp.
Incidentally, they don't lose their set bonuses when they exemp. Other than that, they are treated exactly the same as all other IOs, and even regular enhancements. -
Quote:They didn't get anything wrong. It probably went something like this:Lol that is me to a T
But I have absolutely no tolerance for people who get the little things like this wrong because it shows a lack of basic care.
High Up Big Schmuck: "To save coding time and money, we'll have a warm body flip the switch. Market releases happen on Tuesday, someone needs to turn them on."
Ghost Falcon: "Well, I can flip the switch from home before bed, nbd."
...time passes...
Ghost Falcon: "I'm moving to this other project, so Alpha Wolf is going to take over."
Alpha Wolf: "I go to bed at 10pm, so can I flip the switch when I get in to the office?"
High Up Big Schmuck: "Don't care, as long as it happens on Tuesday."
Most of the playerbase: "Hurray, it still happens on Tuesday!"
PrincessDarkstar: "RAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHH SOMEONE IS *WRONG* ON THE INTERNET!" -
-
He wasn't in the office. He did it from home.
-
Not at all. I'm having fun and I'm not posing a danger to myself or others, so it's all good in my book.
-
-
Yes. Even Incarnate powers. Just preserve the spacing in the power name and you're good to go. (For example, "Healing Aura" works. "HealingAura" does not. "Healing Aura " (note trailing extra space) does not. etc.)
-
They don't need to be *IN* the office, but they *DO* need to be awake and at a computer.
I don't remember who it was that was staying up til midnight to flip the switch every week, but I'm sure they like going to bed at a decent hour if they want to. -
There is an "abandon" button in the mission list. Click that and it will abandon either:
a) the selected mission (red nav text)
or
b) the first mission if no mission is specifically selected
Alternately, you can talk to the contact and abandon the mission through them.
This allows you to reobtain the mission from the contact and start it over.
------
Alternately, you can select a second mission (make the second mission red in the nav) and accept losing progress on your current mission, which doesn't abandon the mission (for instance if you want to keep a specific door location or a certain set of enemies within the mission). -
Quote:You can instead just leave the mission and select "abandon mission" in the mission list, or go to the contact and select "abandon mission" in her dialogue window. That's the one I used. Instead of doing the whole arc, or quitting the flashback and going to Ouro to get it back, just log off after killing all the dudes, but before completing the mission (or with one dude left on the map. Can't remember if it's a kill all). When you log back in, the mission will be reset.
-
The end result is the same, but it's not the same mechanics underneath. Eclipse is a self buff based on number of dudes in range, and Light Form is a form shift (with the option to not take the form shift).
-
Whoops. I meant to go back and tweak that text. It is technically a form shift, and it's inactivatable while Dwarf Form is active.
-
Quote:"Cannot be activated while in forms" is completely different than "can be activated, and then forms can be switched into/out of". CoD is not wrong. Sorry for your reading comprehension failure there, but you can stop being pissy now, thanks a bunch!WHY are you arguing with someone who damn well plays the things and is telling you COD is WRONG in this case? COD is not the word of $deity.
Since you won't take my word for it, look for yourself. Video of me *switching forms while Light Form is active.* As of a few minutes ago.
Jesus. You think I'm telling you this for giggles or something? And if that's not good enough for you YET (and you're a VIP, you can go down to the Kheld forum and *see people discussing it,* even ask others that use it,) you're more than welcome to come to Pinnacle or Victory where my 50 PBs reside and see for yourself, live and in person.
It does look like Mids' needs to be updated to allow for stacking with forms, but "Cannot be activated WHILE IN FORMS" IS CORRECT!

edit: also, your video is marked private, wtg. -
For my last off-topic post on this thread, no, it specifically says:
Quote:As I already said, Blaster_Mode is squid form. Tanker_Mode is lobster form. "Modes disallowed" essentially means "you cannot activate this power while in these modes". ("Disable_All" is used, for instance, for Walk and power-suppression zones.)Originally Posted by City of DataModes disallowed: Peacebringer_Blaster_Mode, Peacebringer_Tanker_Mode, Disable_All
Light Form has the same "Modes disallowed" data as, for example, Shining Shield: cannot be activated while in forms.

Breaking the Cage from Crash Cage, probably your best bet. Should be in the Insider (20-24) section. Repeat the first mission, it's nothing but Cage Cons.

Quote:You're using old information, Aggy. Light Form is now usable in other forms. It doesn't (unfortunately) do the "ball of light" animation any more.Quote:Originally Posted by Aggelakis(although it can be set to wispy aura FX on the body)

If @CustomFX == Wispy
CoD is updated as of 5/31 so this should be current data.
