Knockback Protection in PVE content question
Are the KB protection IOs Blessings of the Zephyr? Maybe you were going for the defense bonus back when it was better?

To cover "everything" non PVP, I believe yes it is mag 12. 4 covers quite a bit, 8 is plenty for 95% of things, 12 covers things like (IIRC) the Fake Nemesis knockback.
And no, I don't believe KB IOs were ever mag 3, however Force Feedback (?) and perhaps 1-2 other sets had 3 points of KB protection as a set bonus. (I'm being lazy and not looking up the sets. *shrug* )
Doesn't Hami do over 12 KB? I was thinking there was 1 really weird outlier that hit 13 or 15 KB.. Not sure now what it was, though. Or if I'm totally misremembering.
See thats what I was thinking too. What is Hamidon's KB?
Or do Fake Nemesis do huge KB? |
Fake Nemesis' Staff Bolt is 9
Note that KB is affected by the purple patch, so a Fake Nemesis at a higher level than the player would have a knockback greater than 9. IE. A level 54 Fake Nem vs a level 50 player would have a 12.96 knockback(9*1.44).
I once read that the majority of KB in this game is either <4 or >8, so having 8 KB protection is kinda pointless. One should aim for 12 if 4 isn't sufficient..
Hamidon's attacks are both 7.5

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
If it was unresistable, it would be noted so in the CoD link given. It's not.

Well no one has showed me otherwise so far, I might of simply made a mistake in my build. I can gain an extra slot that means hmm..
I have a character and I just realized I have 16 points of KB protection on him... I almost always have a reason for doing things a certain why but this one leaves me scratching my head. So a few questions:
1) Were KB Io's ever mag 3 instead of mag 4?
2) Assuming no to the above, I know a Mag 4 would cover a lot of content... however to cover everything I believe you need Mag 12 correct?
3) Is there anything that would fall in the Mag 13-16 range? Being lower level (Like fighting +4's), or special attacks?
