Recall, Detective, Academia, and Science have been in the files for years, and possibly even from launch - the upload timestamp on PWiki of the images is from 2005. They'll likely never be used.

Quote:WIN! ONE INTERNETS, SIR. WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE IT DELIVERED?i'm sorry, but out of a possible score of 20 pts. Per post, your op got an f.

perhaps if you were to do some corrections on your original work, you may not have to retake posting 101.
This text is down here simply to avoid the auto-lowercase forum fix. (Ha ha, you thought this was important text and you highlighted it.) -
JLove has been quoted as saying he wants stuff to look good, and he thinks that having long and/or physics skirts looks like **** due to clipping (not exactly his words).
Since he's basically the person who decides, he wins. -
If you want to post opinions, go post them in General. This is for players asking questions and other players answering them. Generally having to do with fact, not opinion.
-
Clipping has no relation to how much skin is shown. Do you really not know what clipping is? Clipping has everything to do with the dress looking like **** when the body model is animating, moving through legs/torso/other costume parts/NPCs/other players/etc.

A merged market has been explicitly nixed for Going Rogue. Heroes and Vigilantes can only use WW. Villains and Rogues can only use Black Market. No idea on Praetorians.

Quote:Send a petition. One of my friends lapsed for two hours due to incorrect figuring (she was at work when she lapsed, thinking she had time to input a time card after work), and they fixed her up.Well, I knew under the criteria right they established for the program when it happened that this might be a possibility. Technically allowing the account to 'lapse' was my fault, because when I switched it over, I didn't change the payment method correctly. I stopped the first payment and then added a new payment, which meant that my account wasn't active during the period of time.
I can't really blame them for my error.
I can be annoyed that they chose such an arbitrary and pointless method for selecting people to be eligible for the Beta play, but I can't blame them for something that essentially I caused. -
Obviously it's not working as intended, and thus is a bug, and thus the developers will fix it.

Quote:CoV Collector's comes with seven HeroClix, including Lord Recluse which was exclusive to CoV CE. There's an art book, some CoH CCG cards, and a two-sided poster (heroes vs villains, and a map of the Rogue Isles). What were the contents of the CoV Collector's Edition box? Did it come with a Heroclix of Lord Recluse?
In-game, it also gives an Arachnos chest symbol (which is visually different from the vet reward Arachnos symbol), and an Arachnos cape. -
Special IOs have two flags depending on who the effect will be cast on: target and caster. Caster will ALWAYS give the effect to the caster, no matter what power it's slotted in (for instance, KB protection IOs); target will give the effect to whatever the target is. Beneficial effects can be given to enemies; harmful effects can be given to self/teammates (in theory; currently there are no harmful special IOs that can be slotted in self- or ally-affecting powers, that I know of).

Quote:The DEVs have been going the distance of nixing out ways to PL characters. So unless I'm wrong (and I'm sure plenty of people would say that I am), PL'ing is considered an exploit.Quote:If you read my post, It clearly points out that I know that some people disagree with me.
-
PLing is not considered an exploit. PLing is not against any rules in the game.
Utilizing exploits is against the rules. Utilizing imbalances in the game to further PLing is against the rules.
PLing is not against the rules. Farming is not against the rules.
Please note: I am not a farmer or PLer. So don't start that tripe with me. -
Knockback is not stopped by immobilization. It's only stopped by knockback protection.
However, several immobilizations include knockback protection (it's thematic). Not all, though, like Gravity's immob does not have knockback protection.
If the knockback mag is higher than the protection given by the immobilize, then the immobilized character/critter will still be knocked back. -
Quote:********SPOILERS********well, honoree SORTA is a dimensional counterpart... the rikti are from another dimension....
********SPOILERS********
Honoree is Hero 1 after their suicidal trip through a Rikti portal, where he was ...changed... through a similar process (the same process?) that The Lost go through. Read up on the Hero 1 memorial, the cape mission, the Time Capsule, etc. (Text deliberately obfuscated.)
********SPOILERS******** -
Quote:********SPOILERS********... why in the world doesnt hero 1 have a praetorian counterpart ingame ... one of the more important characters in the game lore and he has no dimensional counterpart, yeah true there is the honoree but he only shows up in the LGTF.
********SPOILERS********
That isn't a dimensional version. (Text deliberately obfuscated.)

Quote:Praetorian Stefan Richter (Lord Recluse) was killed by Praetorian Marcus Cole (Statesman/Tyrant) at the Well of the Furies. So Stefan never became Lord Recluse, he is dead.On the Praetoria Wiki Page, it looks like Lord Recluse is an official NPC so that would lead me to believe he is himself and has no counterpart.

Sewers and Eden trials both give reward choices at the end as well, for Hydra-Os and Titan-Os.
Hamidon gives a reward choice popup, but obviously isn't a mission, so doesn't count. (Just mentioning to complete the ___-Os triad.) -
Quote:The outdated wiki has an appropriate Vault Reserve page, as well. I actually checked there before giving my link, just in case the OP was looking there.Maybe they were looking at the disreputable, disavowed, scammer-haven POS wikia site, not the player-supported and updated Paragon wiki.
-
I do. Every character.
Quote:Paragonwiki really didn't go into too much detail except to mention the amount of spaces you would get with each level. They also mentioned a "Physical Vault Building", one on the Hero side and one on the Villain side which I cannot recall ever seeing.

Quote:...nnnno? Hero Gear Kits were sold at Hero Con this year (and last year). They were not the CoH Collector's DVD box, but a bag of goodies, leftovers from when they removed them from the website for purchase. The reason it's the same is because the Hero Gear Kit IS CoH CE. Specifically, the leftover ones. And NCSoft has been out of Hero Gear Kits for some time now.

If those are the only items included in the pack, no... no I would not.
If there were a large number of items (30 or more, perhaps?), considering these are base only and do not affect my character, therefore no one would see my use of them unless they were inside my base... sure. Enough items to create a full base decor out of, for instance. -
-
The box I got from big lots a couple months ago (um, maybe more like a year ago? haha) had a scratch card in it. I'm looking at it right now, in fact.

Quote:Note emphasized word.Fold Space was "pull teammates from away, to me" like a multi-Recall Friend. Like Assemble the Team.
Team Teleport is "take teammates that are standing very close to me with me as I teleport a few yards away". Almost the opposite of Fold Space/Assemble. -
