Sybil costumes available for player characters?
Butt capes in general, I guess you mean? Sinve VEAT widows did in fact get them (after some time :P)
But I know a number of people in game who would /sign this, and so would I.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Player characters are not allowed to have two or more capes, as per Jay. It's also why we won't be getting the designer outfits from the fashion show mission either.
That said, in I12 beta the arm rings that the Sybils wear were leaked in the costume editor. I'd love to see those.

I recall them saying we wouldn't get the sybil outfits, due to them clipping with martial arts.
That's also why we haven't gotten long gowns.
But that said...
/signed
...I still want them

Besides, those Crey women have no trouble with *their* martial arts, and their dresses are every bit as sparse as the gowns of the Sibyls!

Clipping has no relation to how much skin is shown. Do you really not know what clipping is? Clipping has everything to do with the dress looking like **** when the body model is animating, moving through legs/torso/other costume parts/NPCs/other players/etc.

BTW, thank-you for explaining clipping to me. Now I understand why Amerikatt can't wear a Long Cape without her tail punching a hole through it.

Even if the Sybil costume isn't made available for player use, maybe some of its elements could be?
Among other things, I think a belt sash that had physics like capes would really be nice.
Kind of like Jean Grey's costume.
Too bad for Martial Arts users... They won´t clip on my toons, give them to me! lol, jk

JLove has been quoted as saying he wants stuff to look good, and he thinks that having long and/or physics skirts looks like **** due to clipping (not exactly his words).
Since he's basically the person who decides, he wins.

Plus, I like that some of the NPC costumes are not available for players, it makes the NPCs more unique. It actually bothers me that some of the newer NPC characters (Merit Vendors and others) use parts from the Booster Packs... it makes me feel as though my characters aren't as "special" because even the NPCs bought the packs and are using their contents.
I keep hearing about how long robes would clip with Martial Arts, yet between them, the Tsoo bosses have all the Martial Arts attacks and they seem to work reasonably well.
As well, I don't see how the Sybil top could clip all that much. It's basically a v-cut toga.

edit: PS, no one ever said the Sybil top would clip.

So much of the existing costume pieces clip with all sorts of things - other costume pieces, power animations... even running, and everyone lives with it. I mean capes and trench coats are constantly going through my legs and I live with it.
"Because of clipping" seems like a pretty weak excuse.

I think the Devs should go ahead and implement the Sybil costume as both Upper Body and Lower Body options, and should allow it to be warn by characters with tails. Furthermore, we should also be able to wear tights under the skirt.
At the very least, how about putting it on the Test server? Please.

I think that it would be pretty nice to have access to the outfit (and accessories) worn by the Cimeroran Sybils (and Sister Airlia). It could also come with the option of wearing Tights underneath (for the more modest female characters). That's really a nice belt that they wear!
I'd also like to put in my vote to get "butt capes" added for costume modification.
What do you all think about this?
