First time I hear a MM complain about this, I shall slap them silly for not having Tactics.
-
BTW, I *hate* using Midnighter's for staging, as cool as it may be. It doesn't have an insp seller and it seems to have a low zone cap.
-
We were told in Beta it was Random.
I've seen Dev talk which *might* have implied it used the Praetorian Event mechanic of rewarding participation.
The second can be tested if some League was willing to let a person leech the entire Trial and see if they always get the worst reward. -
1. Team up with a player that can bunch up the minions, like any with a patch or group immob and let the PA and Phantasm kill the bunch.
2. Use the Rad to weaken the Commandos. +4 Lieutenants are a hard target for many ATs. You get to soften them up. -
Maybe the last person to to respond should be auto-kicked?
-
You also get a random Rare Component for the MasterOf Badge. For the BAF, the MasterOf Badge isn't too difficult.

Quote:They will merge to form the Grey Lantern! To make things more amusing, Alec Holland is the ultimate savior, while the Dark Avatar is a corrupted Swamp Thing (infected by the Black Lantern and not having Holland's memories and consciousness driving it). It's taken awhile, but im really intrigued to see where this is going.

Quote:Absolutely.I run range defense softcap and 85% resistance to all on my warshade, and I can still get in over my head. The acu's are monstrous if you let them survive long enough. Level shifts from lore and destiny will help you quite a bit, but team coordination will save you most.
A team will usually provide enough extra Defense buff to get you to the new softcap. Or, they can mitigate damage, debuff the foes, control them, or heal you.
Toons used to running off and 'interacting' with the next spawn all by themselves until their team showed up will die in the Incarnate Trials. Teams that stay together have no problems. -

And to clarify: You can not get all three badges from the same Trial, you now have to do the Trial from each level.
I had my ex-Hero do the 3rd Treespec twice and I got the Tier 3 Badge on the first Trial and nothing on the second. So, I did the other two and got their corresponding badges. -
You also have the problem of cats v mummies. The cats will get distracted from peeling 'ribbons'.

Well, 3 days for Tier 3s.
3 more weeks for all Tier 4s. But sooner if I'm lucky.
In fact, if it wasn't for luck, I'd still be 3 days away from where I am now.
Lucky people have gotten Tier3 in 3 days. Which isn't an indictment of the new 'currency', it's an indictment of the RNG Reward Table. *That* is the bad mechanic here. -
That Astral Merits were dropping fast since we kept hitting all the marks and most of the badge conditions. They translated into boatloads of Threads.
Got two lucky Rare Table Rolls (still HATE the idea of RNG reward tables) and with the MoBAF, got an extra Rare Component (worth it to go for the MoBAF!).
Then, to supplement all that, I converted about 100 Shards to Threads to reach certain platforms, namely 3 Tier3s and 1 Tier2.
I *could* convert the rest of my Shards to get that third Tier3, but I'm going to patiently convert 10 per day for maximum gain so that I can eventually get the Tier4s. Grinding is basically over. I'm just gonna play regularly and eventually get the T4s in a month or two. -
Yeah, you guys should schedule your emergency downtimes!

If you're taking out adds at the same time you are working on the two AVs you'll eventually get Strong and Pretty. If you're aiming for it, as the AVs health gets lower and lower, dedicate more and more people to getting the adds. It helps if you camp their spawn point.

Yes, you can make the powers before you can slot them.
-
oh, hai!
1202.
Need to do 3 treespecs and wait for enough other people to be +3 to kill Marauder without using temp powers... which shouldn't be too long now. And then I'll have all the I20 Badges. -
There goes your job in international banking.
