Quote:It's "nice" to stop when someone asks you to stop, but that does not mean you have to, nor does it mean you SHOULD. It's a PVP zone. As a die-hard PVE-er, I accept my lumps when I go into PVP zones for PVE shinies. Pill boxing, AV-hunting, nuke launching, whatever... if someone (or a whole team, as in the OP) starts attacking me (and/or my team), my first suggestion is to leave until the zone quiets down.Yes, up until the point he sends you a tell asking you not to. Regardless of where someone is at that point, you are being a jerk by continuing to do whatever it was that you were doing that was cramping his fun. There are exceptions... but I would not say that this is one of them.
Now, if they had been PvPing among themselves already, and he asked you to stop... well then he is full of it.
PVP takes precedence over PVE in a PVP zone. -
I think it should be (inf + [desired level's salvage requirements]), instead of (inf + [one piece of salvage]).
So, I have a level 37 LotG +Rech. I craft it, and later on decide I want it in my exemplar build, which is optimized for level 33. So I can drop my recipe by four levels for 4 million inf, Demonic Blood Sample, Circuit Board, Mutant DNA Strand, Mu Vestment, and Deific Weapon.
While it's more to craft the item than it would be, it's far FAR cheaper than it would be to ticket, merit, or market purchase. (Plus much less time involved, which is a plus for impatient people.) And requiring all of the salvage required to craft it at that level makes more sense than requiring one random salvage, which is what your OP sounds like.
Of course, there are some recipes that it will make more sense to buy the new version of instead of recraft (I'm looking at you, mez/snipe recipes).
Otherwise, great suggestion. -
Cinders is pretty skippable, ESPECIALLY for a farming toon.

It is. It's also kinda fun if you just wanna go in and bash things and then leave.
Of course, if I wanna go in and bash things and leave, I prefer City, but many, many people are having financial troubles and can't afford P2P games (even though they could simply skip McDonalds/Starbucks once or twice a month and pay for that month's sub), so F2P games get a huge bump in accounts, especially if they're "branded", like with D&D. -
Quote:Multi-quoting: click the middle button between the 'quote' and the 'quick reply' buttons on all the posts you want to quote. Then click the 'new reply' button. All the posts you clicked on will be included in your reply. You can edit them to your heart's content to respond only to what you like.(I suck at multi-quoting, so for simplicity I'm quoting your reply - sorry)
It's completely unnecessary to "fake" old-style quote-within-quote pyramids. -
I got the same email a while ago (except I *do* play Aion). Forward the email to support@ncsoft.com - that's what I did. Don't click on the link to email them, use the forward button and manually type it in.

I have "surprise!stuff" happen all the time since I rarely log into most of my characters. Expensive recipes, crafted items, S/HOs, cool alternate costumes I'd forgotten I'd made, "why the hell am I logged out HERE?" moments, etc.

Justice has Hami raids frequently, but I can never be arsed to remember the schedule. Multiple times a week, and fairly often an unscheduled PUG Hami can be kicked up with little problem if there's enough tanks around.

Quote:This is correct. Mutation has never made the rezzed character puke. I went through this with a 'friend' of mine who insisted that Mutation made characters puke, even though he had never had a Rad.Em. character in his life, and after myself (plant/rad controller, rad/rad defender, dark/rad corruptor, rad/rad corruptor, all with Mutation, and various other small-level Rad.Em. characters in the makings) and two other people (one with more Rad.Em. characters that *I* have) said 'no'.Mutation doesn't make the target throw up after a short while. You're thinking of Elixir of Life.
I had to invite him to a team, kill him, and rez him just to show him that it doesn't. It was exceedingly tedious. And he didn't even apologize for his near-apoplectic fit over the whole thing. O.o -
Quote:Granite is mutually exclusive with typical travel powers (Flight, SJ, SS), and since NR is considered a travel power for suppression, I would 'assume' (you know how that ends up!) it is also mutually exclusive.Out of curiosity can you use Ninja Run in Granite form or whatever makes the Stone Tank move so slow?

That's what I just got done saying, in a little different language.

It records "Point A" which is the height from which you started downward movement. It then records "Point B" which is the height at which you land on a surface. It deducts any "fall damage protection" (which is, basically, your max jump height) and does some voodoo to decide how much damage you take.
For instance, with SJ toggled on, walking off a one-story building to the ground gives no damage. With SJ toggled off, it takes a percentage of your health based on the distance you've fallen. Walking off a skyscraper in Steel Canyon has different damage results with SJ toggled on and off. -
Why? Because people collect them. They're getting rarer and rarer as people convert them into brain storms and other people pull them into "base salvage museums".

Because Power actually made his suggestion in the Suggestion board, unlike Bubble's original suggestion in General Discussion. Therefore, I congratulate Power for attempting to move the discussion to the appropriate subforum (and using full, coherent sentences!), but I must still respectfully, emphatically disagree with the suggestion at hand.

There's a "zone event guide" in the PVP section that explains Siren's Call's battles, but I'm too lazy to go and look for it.

Lots of suggestions showing up in General Discussion the past couple days. Maybe people forgot there's a Suggestions forum.

You can select multiples of the same IO by slotting an IO, then middle-mouse-button clicking an empty spot after that, which slots more of that same IO. You can do this to similar effect with sets, but it selects the next IO in the set for placement instead of more of the same IO (since that's "illegal" slotting).
Select the first set IO, then use the middle mouse button to place the next IO in the set. Continue clicking the middle mouse button until you've got all the set IOs in place. -
