It broken in two ways:
There is no auto-exemp for the person who starts it.
The goals withing the Trial can be made trivially easy with certain powers, tactics, and/or exploits, thus making it a 15 minute affair... which is why it only give 2 Merits so it can't be farmed.
The Devs collected from players a list of all known short-cuts and exploits several years ago intimating they were looking into a fix. That fix never materialized.
And possibly because it is so broken, that they never fixed the level requirements.
Which is why it is bizarre to see it listed as a WST. They have tacitly admitted it is broken. Thus, it should never have made it to the WST list.
Maybe this was a decision of a newbie in Production who doesn't know its history. -

It's unlikely to see any of the packs that came out in the last year discounted. That's just normal retail marketing.
Though as a customer, I value the Party Pack at one third it's actual cost. <shrug> -

it shows 3 emotes, but they are greyed out, I can't click them at all.

Can anyone explain this? Is everyone else having this issue or it is something I will need to wait for support to help me with?

Open Gift became part of the Party Pack (Authbit RecreationPack).
The rest you see you shouldn't. For a long time they've been residing in part of that data file that doesn't show up in the Quickmenu. BAB used to take care of the Quickmenu. The new person made a little mistake and moved them into part of the file that does display. -

Especially when you get Leaguemates in Lambda who aren't checking for the temp powers or anyone who's not clicking the Enter button to start the Trial. The beeps are to wake them up, like with Team Chat.
And for the most part, League Chat replaces Team Chat during an iTrial and Team Chat beeps.
As posted above, it can be disabled on your end. Good time for folks to learn about the ability to silence certain sounds because if this beep bugs you, I'm sure there are more sounds you'd like to silence (or replace with a more soothing sound). Make it so! -
This came up a lot when GR was introduced. We only have theories, nothing in the game lore to point to.
Transmuter is the only real magic user and he lost his mojo when Reese (?) destroyed the amulet that was the source of his power. Supposedly because Reese was a jerk, but it could have been under orders.
Either the Devs wanted a magic-free super world as a matter of lore to stay away from fantasy and keep Praetoria a more sci-fi place. Or, there's a lore-based reason why magic was stamped out, e.g., Cole is weak to magic, so, he had it systematically destroyed; or, Cole got really powerfully cause he had vampirically fed off the magic in his world and incorporated it into himself.
(I don't count Acantha as Praetorian magic since we all know she's there as a hand-waving mechanic for the Halloween Event and costume slot trade-in in Praetoria.) -

However, the City forums were still dead to me, although this time visiting the forum didn't crap out my actual internet connection.
Thanked the tech and hung up and went to bed instead of trying to figure anything out, because this is just friggen irritating at this point. -

Same sporadic loading and not loading problems all day long for me.
At least someone mentioned in another thread that the Devs mentioned in a Ustream chat that they're 'looking into it'.
Though, given how long it took to (mostly) fix the log out problem.... -

In CoH, you can't strafe if you wanted to because of rooting. Also, we fire at our target no matter which way we're looking or moving, so, strafing really isn't even needed, thus, relegated to second tier control.
Anyway, the real question is why any touch typist would keep WASD when remapping would allow them to keep their fingers on the 'home keys' and use ESDF.
And when I ran into certain MMOs that are the same genre as CoH and their use of the turn R/L keys was a late introduction or even still absent when the game went Live, it tells me their Devs hate keyboardists and is a main reason to give them a pass and let them die their slow death with their beloved consolists.
