You can hover over the thread in the thread list and see the first few words of the post. In this case, when you hover over "Do You Have...?", the following shows up:

This is a pointer thread to http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?p=2836795

If you have had connection problems since the release of i17...
...which is plenty of details to figure out what the thread is about. I do this with all threads that have useless titles.
  3. This message seems to happen mostly to folks who have the game installed into "Program Files (x86)" on their Vista/7 machines.

Don't install into "Program Files (x86)". Install into the normal "Program Files" folder, or into a user-created folder elsewhere. Vista/7 is really cranky about stuff happening in the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

So basically, for folks who've already installed the game, move your files somewhere, then copy the updater (the file itself, not a shortcut) to your desktop. Run the updater from the desktop and tell it to install to the new folder wherever you moved them to. This should update your registry information. It will likely also place a lot of spam on your desktop, but that's OK. Just delete it all (including the updater file that you copied to the desktop). You can now run your game from the shortcut that the updater created.
  4. Yes, anything that is tradeable on the market is tradeable via email.

Screenshots don't care about FPS, you're only capturing a single frame.

    Fan-freaking-tastic. Love it! Works perfectly!

Thanks to the OP for the original bits and pieces, and thanks to Leandro for purtying it up!

Prior to 4/29, I think the highest count was like 6 or 7k, from around the AE fiasco time last year.

PS; your math is off by, like, a hundred thousand at least.
  8. ...you might be able to turn on one option, on low. Maybe.

Be prepared for a sobbing, pleading computer if you attempt to turn much of anything up beyond that. Heck, it might even commit harakiri to rid itself of the pain.

Do you simply want to know because "it's cool?"

I think you can rest easy there. It is likely the rich & famous play this and other MMOs. The statistical probability is high enough to where you can be assured you may have, on numerious occasions, played with the rich & famous.

If you're hellbent on finding out with 100% certainty exactly which rich & famous are playing, then you're beyond my level of understanding.

He already answered this question. It'd help if you read the whole thread, if you're going to attempt to jump on somebody for their question.

You act like curiosity is a bad thing.
  10. That's not true at all. The 'squished' enhancements are due to the reworking of the enhancement management screen, to make use of larger resolution and widescreen monitors. If you resize your City window down to something small, you no longer have the extra space at the end of your powers.
  11. This is frikken amazing. I have always wanted something like this. Mids has a "shopping list" (officially called "Recipe Viewer") type of thing that lists recipes and salvage in your build and can be copied to clipboard, but the resultant lists that can be pasted into notepad or whatever are not purty and visual like this (it's just big long text lists).

Also: Leandro, that looks way better to me, how do I set it up that way?
  12. Mender Lazarus has been broken for a while, I did that arc on my troller about a month ago and he didn't attack the meteor back then either. I do remember him helping when the arc first came out, cos I was on my emp/arch defender and was exceedingly relieved I wouldn't have to plink an item with object-level health to death.
  13. It's easier than all that typing you folks do. Too much typing means I can't link stuff in other threads!!!
  14. It isn't possible to pay for in-game-store stuff through Paypal. Only web-store purchases and subscriptions.
  15. Mids is all kinds of buggerated. Ston3y and Steiner are working on it.

    Boss_displayname

Paper/Radio missions often get broken if they're carried across Issue lines. Nothing new here. The best part is when BOSSNAME is accompanied by crazy-level baddies, like level 50 Rularuu or something insane like that. Double plus awesome if you're on a level 6 character!

    Email woahs

PS, the grammar nerd in me would like to point out that it is "woes". "Woahs" is multiple "woah", which is an exclamation of surprise, pleasure, confusion, and everything else in Keanu Reaves' repertoire.

Incidentally, I hate the colloquial spelling "woah"... and vastly prefer the official spelling, "whoa". "Woah" makes me see "woo-ahh". It will never make sense to me.
  18. Whoops. Don't know how that link got in this thread, as it is basically a duplicate from another thread. O.o

However, they did it once already...

Granted, they said it was a huge PITA to do, but it's been done before.

The OP's "have a sublist" seems more along the lines of adding another set of tabs to the Exploration Badges tab, where it's "All, Atlas Park, Galaxy City, blah blah blah".
