Yes it appears on the market but non seem to be in exictence as yet (all show no history) perhaps GR would care to clarify the situation for us

Given that PvP was a late addition to the CoH format and
1/The need for somewhat esoteric builds
2/The demented 'space hopper jousting' style of PvP
3/The exclusion of all but about 20% (random estimate) of powersets for viable PvP toons
Are NC flogging a dead horse here or do people disagree?
And if you disagree what would you suggestetions to improve the interest in PvP beyond those 'hardcore' fans.

Despite debt being somewhat inconsiquential I've still seen more than a few PUG's split because of a couple of doses of it.

I would tend to agree with the OP that there are still things NC could to to increase the realistic feel of being in a living breathing city.

If you mouse over the power bar in the enh management screen it tells you there how much (in %) the power has been enhanced by. Resistances / Defense tends to max out at around 60%, while everything else at around 100%, as well as now giving you the actual base and enhanced numerical values. Not sure what else you'd need to know?

I think he means that system but on the screen you use to assign new slots when you lvl instead of having to cancel/open enchancement screen/check/return to lvling up

Perhaps but given the OP experience with PvP builds some commentry at least would have been appreciated,
Why those powers were chosen
Why slotting with x set is better than y
The most important parts of the build and those that may be optional

No disrespect to KS but given his experience I feel he could have had a lot more to give to the less experienced amongst us who aren't just copy/paste players.

No and No, my commitment to CoH defenitly extend beyond my 'main' and personally I have a problem with the 'self asssured' attitude of a lot of Americans. Which in itself could be seen as 'racist' but I generally find it difficult to show respect to those who don't recpricate and in my experience generally Americans tend to have very little respect for non americans or those not 'americanised'. Perhaps this is my own twisted, small minded, petty view of things but whatever my answer remains the same.

Who nows, frankly who cares, surely it's up to the Devs to decide whether they think any particular suggestion fits the criteria they have defined.

I'd agree with Liz and Raven there, yes it would be a more realistic simulation alloing for more interesting use of tactics, but then so would friendly fire for AoE but I doubt they will implement that any time soon either because of the major rewritting of the engine invovled.

oh yes that AoE comment was kinda frivolous and probably will never be implemented as it would change the whole dynamic/balance of the game. So don't take it too seriously please.

Surely as long as you don't want the toon to be carrying something by default you can use normal animation times to draw/fire/replace any weapon the 'redraw' concept surely only exvist because weapon animations need you to be holding the weapon at the initialization of the attack animation.

If you where looking for a realistic representation then the attack would hit the first target and stop or partially deflect only rarely or in 'overpowered' situations would it continue through unabatted to the next target.
And as NC seem to like to downplay the violence aspect of the game (We arrest bad guys not kill them) I don't really think the concept of us punching holes straight through our targets though 'possible' isn't really going to appeal to them IMO

Well being a concensus of opinion kinda bloke I officially withdraw my objection.
All I'll say is this if you are blagging all these people go ahead mate they don't seem to care, if however you just a salt of the earth bloke just trying share a buzz with your mates then good luck to you but just try watch your back a bit better in the future someone more vindictie or malicious than me may well have caused you a lot more trouble just cos u left a couple of frayed edges in your attempt to seperate your roles as organser and participant.

The arena already produces auto matches doesn't it surely some manipulation of that code could serve the purpose. As to rewards perhaps a special title option would perhaps be appropriate say '7 times heavy weight champ' no ingame effect but you can always impress your mates (if you still got any).

And Lionsbane if you really do what you claim to do then I'm amazed the phrases 'over diversification' and 'over invesment' haven't occured at any time in you discussion of NC's financial health but then thats just me.
To be honest with the decline of GW and there insistance in following a IMO a somewhat exparimental attitude to new payment methods ( As as far as I now pionered in the East) in the form of NCcoins. The certanty of increased competion in the market, The massive financial invesmant involved in developing this new form of entertainment, The potential for a market explosion as Tech becomes available to more and more people, all mean that this is one very heavily stacked table (to use a poker analogy), Do NC really hold a strong enough hand to win a share of the 'Pot' surely only time will tell.

To my mind the only fair way to organise and participate is to have absolutley no involvement in the rule making process or just simply have no rules ( as far as that is possible).
