'49710 Days Offline' glitch
Get used to it and move on.
That is probably the best tip on how to handle this... umm... Bug?
Its nothing to worry about so as Chat says, move on
I've had it a few times, I believe it's caused by logging out within 5 minutes of logging in as the system has removed the old date but not replaced it so it uses 49710 as the value.
As others have said, ignore it and carry on.
It also happens if you crash out of the game, presumably the number isn't correctly set unless you log out correctly.
It used to be that you always got that number when this feature was first introduced on any toon you logged out (ie you would never see 0 days/today as last logged in).

Yes I too played one of my charecters last in 1877 according to the readout but hey you get used to it.
For the curious, 49710 is derived from 2^32 (Largest 32-bit integer), or 4,294,967,296, divided by 86400 (60*60*24 - the number of seconds in a day).
So, if for whatever reason the game thinks that you've played a character more recently than the time you're looking at the login screen (Probably due to small client/server time differences), it wraps the time around to the highest number it can use (49710).

I actually do have a character which hasn't been played for over 1200 days...

Back with a vengeance. I have two accounts, and on both of them every character is listed as being offline for over 49,000 days.
Hehe, imagine all the DXP bars and Patrol Badges you can get for those
If only...

Are you the love-child of Johnny Ball? Only HE used to know numbers like YOU do...

No, you just have to have the vaguest clue about computers...

I've been playing the game for a few days now, and asides from a few lag issues, it's been working perfectly. Today though, I lost connection to the mapserver twice. Both times, when I signed back in, this happened:

Perfectly normal image, right? Asides from one issue. Apparently my Villain, Rhonda, has been offline for 49710 days. The issue corrects itself after a short while, but it's still rather weird to see that I last used her in the late 19th century. Any ideas why this happens? If it's any help, I'm on Union.
OK, I apparently haven't a clue how to use the tags on this site...
