Quote:Yes, because an absolutel butt ton of options don't already clip even worse than that and yet still got allowed-These aren't in the game due to the wide variety of animations in the game. Imagine how horrible a long robe or a long skirt would look while you're doing something like Storm Kick or Eagle's Claw.
They were tried, and they looked like crap, so they didn't put them in. (heard this from Jay the costume guy)
Oh. wait. Bad excuse has been bad for bloomin' ages now, and is still bad. Either remove all clipping,or let the players make up their own minds what they can and can't stand on their own chars. -
Quote:Yes, after all, if you're not grinding the trials all the damn time, you're clearly some horrible criminal who doesn't deserve anything. You're not being "ripped off". You don't have to convert.
You're not being "penalized", either. See above.
Why don't you love the trials, citizen?!
Answer; Because I'm bloody sick of the trials, and want an alternate way. And the only hope we had of them just turned out to be another doozy. Whoop de doo! -
I see at least one slider that got cranked to 11

Porcelain Mask is good. Again seems it can't decide wether to be major or minor in key, although the strange wavering is pretty cool and suitable for carnies. I think it needs either setting to one key or a more pronounced waver from one to the other.
The strings are also a tad understated.
Still, very very good (as ever
)

IF we have to keep the darn drain...
At least make NPCs use it too. Paragon Protectors with 0 crash Inferno are annoying. As are any mob with a nuke that doesnt crash. -
-
Poisons Trap = Traps version. The Traps version works 110% perfectly. Make it so.

Really?
...
*Kicks the AE UI. Hard.*
Stop lying to me you rusting back of bolts! >_<
Thanks Eva. And I'll check DwDD. -
Quote:Yes, those backpacks that only activate with a temp power, clip horribly with Huge models and float off the back of small models, don't scale and don't colour and weren't actually perma-locked to a skeleton anchor point.Holy crap you're right. I never thought of that before... I mean, I never realized that the Skyraider Jetpack, or the Zero-G Pack (which is just a Malta jetpack), or the Jingle Jet, or the GVE Jump Pack, weren't actual backpacks. It makes so much sense now. That makes all this totally fine.
>blink<
>blink<
... Yeah, not buying it.
I guarantee that more people wanted the kind of stuff we're getting with this pack than all the Incarnate crap they've been spewing at us lately. Make that a paid expansion and give us the costume options for free.
But that would totally defeat the point of your diatribe, now wouldn't it? -

Quote:Durr, brain no thunk so gurrrdd...Please tell me you filed a petition on this problem in game as well as posting here my friend.
*facedesk*
Thanks Forbs, shoulda done that from the get go...
Still, I can't be the only one to run foul of this. And no, republishing is possible, but it doesn't change the author tag. -
Be warned, the Author is still @Techbot ALPHA, my old (and true!
) global. My current global is @TechbotALPHA
*sigh* Bloody inactive accounts, stealing mah names, robbin' mah tickets...Sappin' mah AE! -
AR/Energy Blaster here
Shield/SS Tanker
Really, loads of them make sense. Just get creative. -
My arcs are still saved under my old Author name; @Techbot ALPHA
Now that my name was forced to change (@TechbotALPHA, yay for inactive accounts stealing my space...), the author tag hasn't changed along with it. Republishing doesn't work either.
Those are my arcs. I will be VERY annoyed if someone else start getting credit for something I put a lot of effort and creativity into
Fix this, please. -
Quote:This. A hundred times this. I LOVE the Organic face. And the examples ZM posted are 100% right.I have no idea what the technology/technique was to do the Organic faces or the Clockwork faces but both seem to look superior to the Steampunk faces. If I was able to use Organic without the "organic" bits [...] I would use them all the time.
The normal maps just...eh, they seem to be working wrong. I see someone already mentioned that they seem to be using reflections where they shouldn't be, something I alerted Freitag to pass on when he popped in game before.
Please, HD and make PC useable the NPC faces first. Some of them are GREAT! -
Try telling that to the men in suits and in marketting who are actually in charge of how this stuff goes.

Ruler: Emperor Nemesis Rex
Factions: Imperial Army, Imperial Automatons and the Paladins of Justice
Here, the Victorian era never ended. Nemesis came to power before the rise of the Metas, and conquered the world. The only force left standing in his iron-clad way are the Paladins of Justice;
Herald
Neon
Relay
The Puggilist
Fortress
Brother Psion
Gorgon
Lady Arcana
The Armies of Nemesis Rex are not to be trifled with, however. Human soldiers are backed up by humanoid automatons, armed with rifle and blade, and capable of cutting a swathe through any who stand against them.
Welcome...to Dimension Victoria XIII
((V13 is in my AE arc, Crown of Iron, Heart of Steel Part 1, if anyone is interested
Author @TechbotALPHA))

Quote:You need to load the US Test server. No, the reflection seems a bug of the costume creator. It applies on all costume pieces even on live servers, but it seems that it's more remarkable on some textures (like the new faces).
Try it, just change the faces for some of the older ones. You'll notice the same "reflection effect", just more diffused.
Edit: BTW, still no access to the character copy tool for European servers
Got into the NC Launcher properties and add this to the end of it (outside the " " makrs)
/LaunchGame=CohTest
Once thats run, it will install US test and update it. You then delete it from the launcher properties and, voila, you're set.
But yeah, I noticed the slight effect in the CC, but this is far more pronounced. A chance encounter with a Community Redname was enough for them to mention that they'd passed it onto the art team, which would inffer that its not quite WAI, which makes sense given the huge difference from the other faces and not in a good way when they look like wax. -
God damnit, you made me go and agree with Saist! Thanks a lot!

Wow, what a shock, you 'levelled up' more and suddenly old stuff became easier. What a shock.
Did you try running these at +4? Because believe you me, Hamidon in LGTF and Romans all over still hurt a lot at +4 (+3 with Ishift) -
Quote:Ideally, yes. But that would apparently upset the quation that we're meant to suffer through this sytem if we don't have the Luck of the Devil or patience to do the same damn thing day in day out.Personally and looking at the time gates and ratios I'd like to see one Notice be converted into 8 Empyrean Merits. Reasons being:
- you get one Notice per week. In that same amount of time you can potentially get 14 Empyrean Merits.
- one Notice converts to (or is used to buy) one Rare component. You need 8 Empyreans to buy a Rare component.
At the same time, I'd also like to see one Favor being converted to 30 Empyrean Merits. Reasons being:
- you get one Favor per two weeks. In that same amount of time you can potentially get 28 Empyrean Merits.
- one Favor converts to (or is used to buy) one Very Rare component. You need 30 Empyreans to buy a Very Rare component.
Yes, yes... when pigs fly I hear you say. I'd still like to see it though. -
Yeah, my Sword/Shield scrapper ran into some of the 'stragglers' of an Invasion in Atlas (main events too laggy for me)
Now, he could stand toe to toe with a War Warlker EB and not die. Sure, he couldn't kill it, but hey ho, I didn't expect him to.
And then I saw an Olympian Guard.
First note; I LOVE the costume! So freaking badass! Major kudos to whoever did that one (I would guess David?)
Second note; worthy adversary is very, VERY worthy! These guys are scary! The cone laser sweep and the Incarnate Shout attack...well, wow. I was streetpancake in very short order.
I approve. I approve a lot. Swap him into Maria Jenkins arc and I'll have a reason to play it again. -
The boots and gloves need to fit on all options that can take them. Same as the belts, chest details, etc. The womens boots being limited to tights and skirts only is really annoying, especially the shorter boots.

Quote:Thanks. As soon as I saw the wing concept art I had the idea for him pretty much fully formed. I was amazed the name 'Steamknight' was even available on Union!that's absolutely brilliant. One of the best cossies I've seen in a long, long time.
Well, was. I'ts mine now
