anyways, this reminds me of this video.
I have no interest in B&S or WildStar but I find it funny that CoH players are up in arms over the costumes that CAN be created. 7+ years and most of the female toons I seen (Granted they were prolly G.I.R.L.s) were mainly Playboy pinups or naughty school girls. And also let's not forget the hyper-sexualized catgirls; you know... kitty ears, tail, D sized bikini top and short leather skirts.... /e walk and/or /e getsome - yeah THAT's family friendly
There was nothing "family friendly" about CoH's costume creator; because just like in a lot of MMOs...the people who wanna make skanky looking females will with the tools given to them.

If all the game offered was the lingerie outfits, yeah, I could see the hate for the game based on that. But it's not. So it's not really any different than CoH.

For the third time, let me make it clear I don't object to any of this...I'm just ridiculing it. That is a good example of a categorical difference, not a quantitative one.

The skin shiny is on a slider from dry to extra virgin olive oil. (talking B&S here)
And B&S walk for females is not a walk, it's a sashay.
Actually one of the neater things they have in the character developer is the ability to age the face, not select an old face, build a young face and then age it.

But even Desdemona, the most sexualized of the NPCs used in promotion of the game, is tame compared to the (admittedly) cherry-picked sexualized NPCs used to promote the game. And most of the promotion, over time, (where it could be found,) focused on the male characters and action.
So yes, it sure looks like Blade and Soul will be more sexualized than CoH ever was, at least in terms of storyline/NPCs you interact with.

Now, not having played B&S, we don't know exactly how bad it is, short of what people have posted and what they themselves have marketed. So maybe they, and their players, exaggerate the issue. Maybe not.
But having recently given TERA a whirl, I'm not really expecting much. I had to stop playing TERA when my heavy-armour warrior got her first armour upgrade. Her butt-cheeks were showing. In full plate. That can't be comfortable.
I guess I'm not 16 any more. I find stuff like that more silly than sexy.
