In case you were not sure - you did in fact get all of his script. He did the exact same "phone convo" last week and I copied it then. I just checked.

I still remember the time my second main (Mercury Marvel) was leaving Pocket D and ran into Ascendant in the Hero entryway.
Being (at the time) a relatively new Hero in town, and having worked at a comic-book store, he'd heard of Ascendant before (Hell, had bought some of his merchandise before) and promptly fanboy'd out and asked for a picture (which, gratefully, Ascendant agreed to).
I took a screenshot of it and everything. Then that computer ran into some issues, had to be wiped, and I lost it. 
But I still got to meet the Big A!

He's become famous and beloved in the COH community partially because he's a really cool guy who'll help anyone out. And partially because of longevity.
But mainly it's because he is a FANTASTIC writer. He can do serious. He can do outrageously funny. He's done a lot of outstanding fanfic. His villain, Doctor Crom, is almost as well known as Ascendant himself.
Possibly his main claim to fame are his famous "One Sided Phone call" scripts.

They are very much like some of Bob Newhart's skits. And they often play off the main "theme" of Ascendant, which is, as Ascendant has said on his Virtueverse page, the "elevator pitch" of his character - "Imagine a guy with Superman's powers, but Spider-Man's Luck".
How famous is he?
Well he cameoed more than once in the City of Heroes comics that were published a few years ago.
And - in a move that shows how awesome our Devs are - if you go through a Tram station... pay attention to the NPC Chatter. Occasionally, you'll hear an NPC say something like, "Who? Ascendant? I'm sorry, you have the wrong number..."
So that's Ascendant.

I have to add my own props for Ascendant, who is Hi-Larious when he wants and also has the power to render anyone Misty-Eyed and Lumpy-Throated... all through the power of the printed word.
His Uncle Saul's AE arc was simply wonderful.
Also a big fan of his phone conversations.

He's hanging out in AP8 right now.
