It will be KB/KU/KD heavy power set; Soloing Based, and rumor has it as wonderfully paired with Robots MM or Ranged attack of sorts.

All elements will eventually being placed into game. ^_^

That would be unsurprising. Wind does tend to knock things over... lawn chairs, exterior decorations, trees.

Soloing Based,
That's highly doubtful. Perhaps, it would be more accurate to speculate it will be highly focused on single target damage. Though other sets that are single target focused aren't considered solo specialists, especially considering the preeminence of AoE damage in this game. Additionally, wouldn't it be foolish to base a support AT set in a MMO around a solo experience?

If it doesn't have -kb/kd in the AoE immobilize (assuming it has one) then it would mesh with Robots, at least as well as Gravity or Electric would. However, it's a rare recommendation to see someone suggesting particular extra-AT pairings.

Again, not something that would surprise me. As long as they can create and sell new powersets they're going to tap into as many viable ideas as possible. With wind, control sets have most traditional elements covered though there's still smudge room for water and metal (considering Eastern elemental standards). I would hope though that we see a Trap control set first to accommodate more natural/tech origin concepts.

If it is Wind CONTROL then it will not be available to Masterminds or anyone other than Controllers and Dominators.

I get the feeling that the post you're replying too should be read as:

I could of sworn local man already made a pun about breaking wind earlier... Did he delete it? :-/

I thought the wikia version is unreliable and suspect?

Yes, because (among other reasons) the primary contributor to the site regularly PIGG dives to get unauthorized information.

Like this set...

How would PIGG diving make the information unreliable or suspect? What mechanism do you propose for the game behaving differently from what's in the game's own files?

You don't have to like Wikia. I don't either, particularly. But at least be fair in your criticisms. The supposedly PIGG dived information has proven, repeatedly, to be accurate when verified.

The simplest answer to that is that the information is subject to change... or simply not be implemented in the game. There have been past powersets revealed by pigg diving that have never reached fruition and some that have.

True, unannounced features are much more subject to cancellation. I don't think the Primalist archetype was going anywhere. And the devs balked on Kinetic Assault shortly after I24 beta began, that plug might've been pulled.

But recently there have been sets creeping into the code that are basically done, save for actually flipping the switch. Perhaps to space the releases apart for market timing. It's these finished sets that were found to be reliable info, thus more interesting to me.

But anyway, cancellation of any specific feature is a point that's been recently mooted.

Yeah, I made one and then deleted it . . . even I have minimal standards of tastelessness.

LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)

This set looks amazing...it's one of the reason why I will fight to keep this gaming going until there's nothing left in me.

The Set looks absolutely...wow!

What, can you see it?

EDIT: oh wow, it does look great.

Wind Shear plus Time's Juncture would be hax.

And there I was feeling all lucky, having secured the name "Air Man", and on the highly populated Virtue no less. Even pencilled up a rough concept build based on the ever-unreliable Wikia's preview (Wind/Force Field Controller w/ Psionic ancillary so he could unleash Psionic Tornadoes). Total Concept Character, would stay permanently Invisible, always Fly/Hover and never touch the ground, etc. I was going to contact Fire Man about tracking down Water Man/Woman and Earth Man/Woman, if they exist, and forming the most kick-*** SG in the game. Oh well... (Or should I say, "maybe later...")

Also I raise a glass to "Shoxygen", who would've been (and may yet be!) my first Dominator (Wind/Elec/Mu). Hopefully these, and all of our nutty ideas will get a chance to strut their stuff in Paragon & the Isles.

Later gators,
- The conceptually inconvenienced Copper Cockroach

P.S. I'm gonna hang onto these names for now, just in case... but if we get word there's no chance of a reprieve or revival, I'll release 'em.

I'd probably reroll Will O' the Wind. He never felt right as an EM/EA Stalker, but that was pretty much the only choice for pure air looking stuff.

Look what you did. Storm/Sonic is sad now.

I remember seeing a Sonic/Storm guide when I first started playing. I even made one but it's just not for me sadly. I'm not a big fan KB. Also I didn't like the fact that you can't control the KB of storm. I prefer using Storm on a controller because I like to group a mob together and summon Tornado or LS.

Also I didn't like the fact that Dreadful Wail has a crash .

My apologies I should of posted the link.

Will O' Wisp is an awesome name and perfect on a wind toon! I know that other players will have Name Handle envy!

Airman as in Megaman's Airman? If so that is awesome ^____^.

I would have to see the set...I can't think of what other secondaries I would want to stick with beside Storm Summoning.

I may have gone Wind/Dark. I've seen Dark Affinity colored to resemble sand. Put the two together and you have a nice sandstorm.
