Do you look forward to more Incarnate slots? What would you want to see?

The one thing I would say here is have a bit of faith in the dev team. When the early Incarnate slots were released there were only two trials you could run for them now there's seven trials and a zone full of story arcs.

So yeah at the moment there's only one trial you can run to unlock Hybrid at the moment but I think that we can reasonably assume that there will be more content that unlocks it in the future.

Well they've said there will be more ways to earn AiXP in the future. And it just wouldn't make sense for it to be the only source ever (Especially since it's very likely the next slot in the tree will be using it. Whatever is above Hybrid).

Do I look forward to new incarnate slots?

no.

I'm enjoying the game much more during my hiatus from iTrials, and even though I think the incarnate solo stuff is enjoyable, I still find creating alts and playing the 'under level 40' game to be more fun for me. The time it takes to unlock a new slot is just too much of my limited playtime taken away from that.

I haven't even bothered to look at what Hybrid does. I really can't bring myself to care. I don't hate incarnate stuff- don't get me wrong- I'm just apathetic to it.

There are areas where I will have a bit of faith in them due to past experience. The area of 'Incarnate abilities' is not one of them.

For op's question. Before april I was looking for new slots and was very excited about them. At the beginning of april I was like OMG give them now. In the middle of april I was like NOOOOO bring it back. When i23 went live well lets just say I canceled my subscription which was a 6month one and re-subscripted at the beginnng of april so now I am waiting for it to end and don't plan to resubscribe for a long long time.

That still seems an odd reason to cancel a sub.

He's referring to the Hybrid Slot abilities. Kangstor really, really, really hates the fact that the original version of the power (permanent toggle with high end cost) got changed to the current version (a 50% up-time effectively click power).

This sums up my approach.

Or how Hybrid was changed from a toggle costing endurance to a toggle with a preset duration. Which seems more likely.

Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib

I had forgotten about that. It does seem more likely.

I am not playing much more these days and my 50's got boring after doing trials trials trials more trials and sometimes WST's considering I only have 4 of them since 2005 should show how long a span of interest I can keep going on. I only bother to play with only my main 50 before i23 and only to complete most content with him doing ouroboros getting in rare occasional raids like shadow shard and such. I was expecting hybrid with anticipation to kill my boredom along with magi trial. Although trial itself is not bad it is boring and hybrid was such a letdown I decided to forget my 50's totally for a while and get my other lowbies trying different power sets etc. Since I am tier 9 i don't think i will lose much other than incarnate. I bought most of character packs back in the day including GR too maybe a couple of things will be blocked but I highly doubt it will effect anything.

Like some others here I have yet to bother unlocking Hybrid on any character, and probably won't unless unlocking it becomes a requirement of another trial.

The only incarnate powers I actively aim to unlock are Alpha and Judgement. The rest if they happen happen. So, no, to answer the original question I guess I don't.

I am in a similiar standing except interface is also part of must gets. Lore and Destiny T3's only for ishift but since I am tired of itrials they are lowered in to the "whenever I feel like" position.

I do look forward to new Incarnate slots

I'd like to see the following:

1) Another "Global" slot like Alpha, and I'm hoping that's what Omega turns out to be. I'd like it if Omega was unlocked by Shards and Notices, like Alpha is as well.

2) I'd like to see a slot that modifies the parameters of Incarnate powers, "trees" that would add damage, recharge, end reduction, accuracy, range, mez duration and etc. This would be neat because you wouldn't have to worry about where on your tray you were going to put it.

3) I'd like to see some passive Incarnate powers. A passive "aura" with trees that have various damage, control, or debuff abilities. Although this would be "passive" it needn't be on all the time, maybe it activates like the "Only in Combat auras" do ... i.e., starts up when you enter combat, and shuts down shortly after you're done fighting.

4) A true, unique "Signature Power". I'm not sure how they would implement this, but I'd like to be able to use the costume creator, choose from a variety of alternate animations, choose what type of special effect it has (electric, darkness, fire, energy, etc.) what effect it has (damage, debuff, control, etc.). The "numbers" might be predetermined from a template (all of them would have the same cast time, same range, etc) OR they might be customizable too, and lessen or increase the effect of the power.

5) An Incarnate Side Kick slot! Choose a side kick from one of the ATs in the game and choose the power sets. The powers from the sets might be predetermined, or they might be chosen by the hero. Pool Powers, maybe or maybe not. Personalize the Side Kick in the character creator! The hero would be responsible for the side kicks welfare. If defeated, the hero would need to go to a hospital to sign the defeated side kick out and pay his medical fees (influence).
