Well, this thread had me search for 'Doctor Who SDCC', and I found out there's a Deadpool video game coming out and yay.

So thank you, misleading thread title.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Has been done before. The Vosh in Star Trek come to mind, but they were evolved dinosaurs. Doctor Who has the Silurians which are evolved dinosaurs as well. I assuming we will see another episode with Silurians if this is correct. Having actual dinosaurs in space sounds like something that might have been done with Star Trek since there was an episodes where they transported an alien village to another planet. Doing a Noah's Ark for a doomed primitive planet would make sense if Star Trek had a future series in the 25th Century or beyond.

Let me guess, you're a big fan of TVTropes.com, right?

Umm, the transcript I read online has actual dinosaurs on a spaceship, said they were the largest sets ever built for the series. Also the the Western Episode is called, "A Town Called Mercy", and the 4th episode is called, "Cubed". I hope that means there are three Amy Ponds in it!!

Dinosaurs as in sentient beings evolved from dinosaurs, or dinosaurs as in "OMG the velociraptos can use doors!"?

Goodbye, I guess.

While I have used TVTropes before, this was all based on memory except for checking a Doctor Who Wiki to get the Silurian name.

Neither, I expect.

It will probably be more along the lines of the dinosaurs are the animals on the ark.

I really should do something about this signature.

I wasn't referring to your list of examples, rather you beginning with "has been done before" and then, um, providing a number of examples with only a forced connection at best (based on my reading of the description given here: http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/tantalising...lips-36106.htm).

The clips where exclusive to Comic-con. In the event that anyone would be naughty enough to record them and put them on the net, you wouldn't be allowed to link to them from here.

To be honest, I always forget their name. For some reason it just won't stick in my head (and I always end up wanting to call them either Sontarans or Slitheen, knowing full well that neither is correct).

Don't be silly. It's clearly Ricky.
