Discussion Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie - [LIVE] - May 31, 2012 Patch Notes
I want the work that goes into getting +4 and up to actually count for something other running another *yawn* trial. Sure, you get the powers, but there's not much of a feeling of getting stronger. I'd like to be able to run one of the Portal Corp arcs with AVs in it and have that sense of strength that was displayed in the Alpha arc.
What would be neat is if the always-purple code for GMs and Invasions exempted Incarnates. Meaning that say, Babbage, Lusca or Adamastor would be at max level 50. Meaning they'd eventually turn red or yellow con. It only makes sense that such creatures wouldn't be able to keep up being as powerful as an Incarnate.
It's supposed to have a much better rate for Rare and Very Rare reward tables upon completion than the other trials, at about half the required completion time of the Underground Trial.
(In actuality, though, I've gotten an Uncommon and a Common upon both times I finished.) |

So.... no Mecha Armor Shield then?
I am in the middle of Ward's arc in the Night Ward story. One thing sticks out the most to me so far: I love Love LOVE "Ball of Light"!
All the animations for the Animus Arcana are beautiful, and the dialog smile-inducing. But Ball of Light really takes the cake. They are so unbelievably cute! Like little puppies that just want to lick your nose and get scratches behind the ear.
What do I have to do to get a Ball of Light and/or Animus Arcana for incarnate lore pets? Or even better, a purchasable mini version as a mild heal buff pet (ala Blue Wisp Pet)? I will gladly beg by quoting "I do so love to help others!" and "More friends!"
The Personal Story for Cole still mapserves when using any of his AoE powers against the Arachnos army. Frankly, I think it's just the problem of having too many enemies crammed into too small a map. I get it's trying to feel epic, but it's causing -massive- lag and seems like the mapserve happens whenever you try to do an AoE attack on more than a small handful of enemies at a time.

Like many others, I had no problems with any of the Night Ward or Belladonna Vetrano contacts until I reached Emperor Cole's Personal Story.
Then every time I did more than a single-target damage (the brawl or sniper), I got this message and had to wait at least five seconds of not touching my mouse or keyboard before it caught up:
Managed to not actually disconnect. I'm very grateful for a beefy computer! And the fact that it was at the slowest time for the server.
I feel sorry for anyone trying the story at the same time an iTrials is going.
One good thing is the Cole story is skippable. So if you've already done it once, and you have a mission complete saved up, you can skip it and get the credit for it.
NCSOFT may take away our servers and beloved dev team, but they can't break our spirit and community. with all your power, NCSOFT, your victory will be bitter-sweet. I, personally will be there to laugh at you when you face-plant into the ground.
Mecha Armor set. Cool but there go my hopes of getting the Celestial set
Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
