I was surprised when I was able to get the name Maximum Pain, sometime shortly after Issue 6 launched, for my SS/EA brute.
Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.

I'd never use a nuke in a superhero universe. You nuke a city, you kill 1.5 million people minus one. The last guy not only gets superpowers from the explosion, but ones that let him survive a nuke...and wow, is he torqued off

I don't know... when I discovered it was available on Virtue and made the character this weekend, getting the name Solar Ace somewhat amazed me.
I've been wanting to try out an Energy/Energy Blaster for a while and I and finally found a costume and concept and character... and name... to go ahead with it.

So, to append my previous post of names, I just grabbed Evisceratress on Virtue the other day.
Just now, while gearing up to research obscure afro-caribbean music styles to inspire a name for a new concept; I tried 'Reggae' in the costume creator on a whim.
To my amazement, it was actually available.
I confess that there are times when I abandon a character because the name which inspired me was unavailable. Still, I am routinely amazed at what a little creativity (and/or Golden Age research) will turn up. That I was able to snag Gorilla Girl when Exalted opened still makes me smile.
