No problems, just let us know what difference putting SR after AS makes. I'm personally hoping for 6 DPS as it's what I predicted in the first place(+30DPS over the SS chain).

Also, these pylons are within the Rikti warzone, correct? Thanks for your time
The formula for calculating DPS using Rikti pylons is as follows:

( 38343.75 / time ) + 127.8125 = DPS

Time equals seconds, so if you took 5 minutes to kill the pylon, time would be 5*60=300

I'll check after my Trial marathon, sure. Although there's the possibility Bad Misses and other factors may skew the outcome, I'll do some tests.

Hint: don't eat blues. It kills your dps. Surprising but true. Craft recovery serum, hit it before you start the fight. You are testing dps -- don't throw that off using inspis.

I just ran the numbers and results say that it's about the same DPS as AS-SR-PS-MB before reactive. So yeah, best to ditch SS for attack chains and leave it as a burst/mitigation tool or simply not take it.

Nice build BTW.
Hm, OK. So the theory best chain is [AS>SR] ... PS > MB > AS > SR

is that right?

so you use SR (2nd best attack after AS), and then PS after SR in case SR misses?

You guys are doing great work. I may respec over the weekend and test this new chain.

Switched up my build to run

[BU-AS-SR] ... PS>MB ... AS>SR>PS>MB (repeat)

got a best time of 3.24 in 5 runs

that's about 315 dps, or 17 dps more than my previous runs (3.45 for 298 dps).

I would have expected a bit more. Shrug.

I think we can safely assume Staff for Stalkers caps at around 320 DPS, then.

I think 3.45 is 298dps per the formula, hence a 19dps difference?

I got a 17 dps difference so we are in the margin of error (3.24 best time with me under new chain).

I'm curious what T4 Musc, instead of T3, will do.

Then there is always Hybrid

Hybrid will just add the same amount of damage to all sets, so it's TL;DR.

I have Tier 4 Musculature now. I'll run another test... in a bit.

Also if you are using waterspout, you should be getting higher dps than me. All my times are just with the attack chain shown. We are awfully close on DPS which is interesting if you are continuing to use waterspout.

Not sure if it is a difference in procs, or if it is the difference between your T4 Reactive and my T4 Degenerative.

... I'm not sure what Degenerative does to the overall time, to be honest. You shouldn't be beating me with Water Spout in the least, though.

Degenerative might really bork up the equations.

With T4 Musc now, alongside T4 Degen, and the new chain of AS-SR-PS-SS I am now getting times of around 3.10-3.15. My best so far was 3.03 and I've had outliers the other way (e.g., 3.25). I think the RNG on procs really comes into play, and a single miss of AS, or a mis-timing on BU, can really cost you seconds.

3.03 is ~338 dps so perhaps that's closing in on the theoretical max? A more average time of 3.15 is ~325dps.

EDIT: noted that in the context of Degenerative, "DPS" is a bit misleading as it's really "effective dps" considering Degen's -HP buff lowers the pylon's HP and thus reduces the time to defeat it. It's not pure dps addition like Reactive and its -RES alongside DOT. Never meant to imply otherwise. With Degen, I defeat pylon in [X] time and have [y] effective dps.

I'll get around to doing another test with AS > SR > PS > MB. Lazy still.

Hell I got too bored trying to finish one run on my kinetic melee stalker and gave up. I was around 1/2 down or so.

I give kudos with those capable to taking the tedium for the sake of knowledge.

Too many alts to list.

Honestly i just sit there watching the buttons in my power tray and pressing the next one when the circle is around the one before it. I don't even look at me fighting the pylon any more I do keep one eye on the stopwatch on my phone haha

9:40/193 dps on my casual, non-optimal staff/ice/lev. (T3 Musc Radial Revamp, T2 Spectral Radial)

Terrible compared to you guys, but I'm just happy because it's the first time I've had the patience to kill one.

No insps/temps, but lots of EAs, HFs and IBs and a couple Rebirths. My attack chain was mostly AS->small pause->SS->PS->SR. Use whatever click I need in the pause.

Man, the Stalker forum is pretty quiet for the past few days. Where is everyone?

By the way, how is Spectral interface? What's good for it?

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Just found this thread.

After the new stalker changes went through I took out a pylon with my Claws/Nin stalker. T4 Agility which I didn't bother to unslot but no other Incarnate powers used, no pets, temps, offensive powers from the epic pool, etc. [Edit: wait, I tell a lie, T3 Reactive as well]

Took on the order of 5 minutes but I didn't stopwatch it. Maybe 6. I think.

I'm not sure he could do it before this, or at least I probably wouldn't have had the patience to button mash for that long.

Eh, I just took it because I hadn't taken it yet... the gfx look kind of neat.

Regen is based on Max HP. Degenerative lowering Max HP is, in a sense, a Regen debuff. If no one does the math by the time I get to work tomorrow, I'll try to calculate it myself.

This thread has been quiet for a while so I took my Ninja Blade I've been tweaking for a spin. 2:49 for 354 DPS

I do use T4 Assault Core, T4 Degen Radial, T4 Musc Radial, no Water Spout though
