Welcome to Club Everybadge
I contemplated ditching that dork @xeaon to join your MoTPN tonight because I wanted to see your toxic jerk in action. My loyalty proved to be as thick as poutine gravy and I missed out. Regardless, congratulations on your obsessive compulsive disorder!
That's some serious... dedication... yes, "dedication" is the word I will use. You are very dedicated.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

Anywho, congratulations. I'm stuck at 1351 on both my hunters (shakes fist at stupid PvP badges).

For heals, I put a pet on passive and used Alkaloid on him while an enemy tried to kill him.

For damage, I found something to hit me while I was using Rest. |
For mez, I wound up using a mid-level arc in Ouroboros with a player debuff and some Chief Cryo Scientists, who only use holds. It took a few weeks straight, but I got 'em all. |
The Bad Leader. |
Well, it's been two years (April of 2010 is when I started), and a whole lotta grinding, failures and trying to get teams together, but I finally have every badge! At least, every badge I can have. Some badges were before my character's time (Celebrant, etc.) and some badges simply aren't available (Passport, etc.). But every badge that could be earned, doggonnit, I earned it.

I'll go with that word too. My "badger" gave up (around 150) after solo opening Xmas presents to get the Toy Collector badge. I like the game, but tedium within it is another matter.

What kind of straightjacket does that kind of dedication get me?

Slacker..
Congorats OP, admittedly the methods described to attain this feat resembles fingernails on a chalkboard to me, but to each their own. ;]

I feel so out of the loop... I was ecstatic the other day when I finally got the 1250 badges badge! Now I am approaching 1260. I don't really aspire to have any of the Epic Level badges, I figure if I get those, it will be through traditional play only. Still have to get a bunch of Mo badges. And I had so much fun getting the MoITF that I don't think I will mind those as much as I thought I would.

With Incarnate level shifts earning "No Death" Master badges have become much easier and less nerve-racking. Good luck to you.

Boy, I can remember when I was in the top badgers for the game...
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

And no, before any derpfaces ask, I didn't take the petless build into the trials.

That can't be done solo.
The crap is wrong with you? You know how few hit points Masterminds have?
See above. Sappers deal too much damage to Masterminds.
For damage, I found something to hit me while I was using Rest.

Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
My badge-OCD was cured once I saw the game releasing badges (that could never be gotten again) for time paid....or something like the helmet we got recently for being "VIP" from, like October to March or something.
Things like that, that scream "YOU MUST GIVE US YOUR MONEY!!!," fortunately ruined badging for me.
Besides the fact that the anniversary badges....and a few retail packs with exclusive badges.....already had rubbed me raw on the deal.
Now, if I get a badge: yah!!! If not, who cares? My ex-badger (who was, at one point, 2.5 years ago) like 14 badges or less away from every badge he could possibly get.....is now sitting at 713 badges. And i'm not chasing down any more.
I remember, a while back, doing a heal farm with Lothic, actually =P
Once badges are there I can no longer get....if I can't "gotta catch 'em all" then I give up.
Mr. True Shot.
Level 53: Arrows/Devices/Munitions Blaster
....and hopeless Science-Natzi.
congratulations
It was an honor to be in at the "kill", so to speak. (Also, I was happy enough just to get the Master badge on that run. )
The Way of the Corruptor (Arc ID 49834): Hey villains! Do something for yourself for a change--like twisting the elements to your will. All that's standing in your way are a few secret societies...and Champions of the four elements.
But every badge that could be earned, doggonnit, I earned it. AFK Farming |

The crap is wrong with your condescension?
Assuming you're telling the truth, you must have had +HP and +Regen out the roof. I even went to Rikti War Zone and found a -4 Sapper, which still did too much damage. He eventually got bored and went away.

Finding a mission with Sappers usually works best and keeps you from logging out. Just clear out all the other critters except for one or two even level Sappers and let it go for hours that way. *shrugs*
Good luck.

I got the last of my mez badge(s) from being in Warburg and having one of the Toxic Tarantulas use its Ranged Hold on me...luckily that's all it did.

Some of the Achievement badges require very high numbers for overall statistics and I would run my computer overnight for days trying to earn them. As a Poison Mastermind, I was able to get most of them without teaming even.
Master of No Deaths
The original Master badges had simple rules that weren't so simple to execute: complete the level 50 Task Forces set to no Temporary powers, 0 deaths allowed, and succeed without dying. Lady Grey and Statesman took multiple tries, but Lord Recluse, Imperious, Dr. Kahn, Barracuda and... and... I guess that's all. Got those on my first try. The LRSF team was hax: we charged in and fought them all the real way, with no permadom to put them all to sleep. That was pretty epic.
Year Jobs
I count 33 Day Job badges, at 3 weeks each means 693 days (almost 2 years) of not even playing the character. And whenever I got close, they added more. Twice!
The Good
Some badges were lots of fun. I'd put in a little work, and get a lot of results for it. The Ouroboros, crafting and Architect badges counted for this, and it was a lot of fun. Running around fighting a bunch of a particular enemy group was dull at times, but if I had to do it all again I definitely would. Checking off Task Force badges from the list was ever so satisfying as well, and nailing tricky badges was icing on the cake.
The Bad
Some badges are just dumb. Midnight Dodger. Master of Lambda Sector. Dreamwalker. And some badges are just tedious. Disruptor. Power Seller. Leader. While none of them are so bad that I'd say "I will never ever run those again," I certainly won't complain should that wind up being the case.
The End
So that's where I am. I still have some Paragon Rewards badges coming down the pipe, but those are already paid in advance and will come in with my monthly tokens. My grand total at the time of this posting is 1,341 badges, and about 50 minutes ago, my quest for chasing after shiny objects found its conclusion.
